Everyone is very nice. I am especially fond of Irma who cleans my teeth. She is very good at her job and so kind and patient with me and my fear of dentists. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I’ve been going there for about six years now.

Please refrain from constantly texting us about appointments. I know when the appt is and I don't need reminders, I am very capable of remembering when my appointment is. You sent a reminder for May already, I do not need these constant reminders, please refrain from sending them.

Let me start off with saying how enjoyable my experience was at this Dental Office. The new office is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. I came in for a cleaning with my 2 month old daughter. I was worried she’d be fussy or I’d have to leave and come back another time when I had someone to babysit her. But when I arrived I was immediately reassured it wouldn’t be a problem. The staff was so kind, and Krystal and Josh expecially helped with my daughter and made my visit/cleaning fast and truly just wonderful. I’d recommend this business & team over and over again. They are seriously amazing!

I have been going to Port Isabel Dental for over 30 years (since 1988). I started going back when Dr. Sellers was the dentist. Then Dr. Salazar purchased the practice. I have always been treated like family when I go in! They have been treating my husband for 27 years and both my children for 20 years. I would not go anywhere else and highly recommend this dentist and his professionalism and the professionalism of all his staff! I love the new building where they are now- so nice and tastefully decorated and updated with the latest dental equipment today!

Dr. Salazar is patient, supremely competent and a fun dentist to work with. His facility is top notch and the staff are all technically competent and focused on customer comfort and satisfaction! I had 2 crowns and several fillings completed there and am totally satisfied with the work performed. Overall a great experience!

AMAZINGGGG Place!!!! Doctor and staff helped so much each time I went. Loud noises can cause anxiety at times and they always remembered each time I went. They went slow when needed and always checked that I was ok. They were great my children and well. Love them!

Outstanding! From staff to dentist, check-in to check-out, excellent.

I have to write a review to praise Dr. Salazar and his office for the treatment of my husband and his emergency situation. I use the word emergency because we are from out of country, being from Canada, and on our drive to South Padre Island, my husband lost a filling from a molar. There was no pain but attention was required. We were staying for two months in Texas so we needed to have this looked at. Dr. Salazar determined that the tooth had a crack all the way down the side of the root and the only option was extraction. He recommended Dr. Gary Schwartz and last Saturday my husband had this molar removed. My husband has some traumatic childhood memories about dentists but the care and treatment by Dr. Salazar's office was exceptional and efficient and extremely professional. Postoperatively, my husband has had little pain and is eating soft foods easily. We are both so impressed with the care we received, being tourists, that we applaud Dr. Salazar and his office. Irma was so helpful in giving us the dental codes so that we can make a claim with our insurance when we get home. A well run office and I would recommend Dr. Salazar without hesitation.

If not for my suffering this would be five stars. Begining of the year I started getting treated here and made it known that I had been eating with my front teeth for years because of two bad molars one on each side. Dentist says five the small stuff first then we get to those. Well when it was time to get to those there was no coverage left and I was left high and dry on those two bad teeth unless I paid out of pocket. Now I have had three severe infections since and am into the fourth. Only reason I am not in the hospital now is because my family doctor offered to help with the infection. I am a disabled veteran who has had a total knee replacement, so an infection of this type can go to my bones and possibly kill me. So far I am just looking the feeling in my face and unfortunately the hospital is next. Tried to get help here but they say I would have to pay out of pocket which I do not have. So if you go here make sure they get to what causes you the most problems first or you might end up like me.

I enjoyed my visit to Port Isabel Dental. The staff and Dr Salazar are competent and professional.The office is beautiful with a warm and friendly atmosphere.
