Ephraim Family Dental Clinic

This place is a joke. They don't care about patients. They just want their money. I have spoke to other patients at this facility and they have been denied care because the facility wants all the money up front. So you are pretty much giving money to a random person. This in turn let's the dentist do a.bad job so you have to come back. I had a crown put on my tooth that was cracked and it was played off as nothing. The staff were anything but friendly. I ended up waiting for almost 2 hours for a simple checkup. Their prices are also outrageous and once again it doesn't matter about how bad they treat you or if they do a terrible job. They expect full price with no refunds.
I will always tell people to stay the hell away from this dentist and to absolutely avoid it at all costs. You have been warned.

I went in yesterday for a damaged nerve, and the dentist noticed quite a few other problems/cavities. Rather than insisting I got it done then and there, he asked what my plans were later on, and since I mentioned that I'll be joining the Navy in a few months, he let me know that nothing I had was too urgent to not just wait until I can get it done under their dental insurance. He also suggested letting the nerve heal naturally before going to extreme measures, and to come back only if the pain comes back/gets worse since he did mention that it could potentially heal itself without needing intervention. I absolutely admire his decision to give me advice that is better for me rather than just trying to give himself more business. The entire appointment was incredibly professional, and I'd highly recommend this place to anybody who needs dental work done!

As a dental specialist, I get to see the work of many dentists around the state. The Thompson’s consistently perform high quality dentistry and use specialists appropriately. I know them as kind, down-to-earth people who do a fabulous job caring for their patients. We have worked on many challenging cases together and their shape minds and excellent communication are greatly appreciated.

I was over charged, made to wait 2 weeks for my first visit, a month for the second visit, a month and half for what would have been a crown. The doctor will be out of town on the day I have scheduled an appointment over a month ago. I get a call, a week before, saying we need to reschedule. I am told that the soonest they have is an additional month out. They expected me to keep a temporary filling for nearly 3 months. I had lost the last tooth they root canaled because they were not able to get me in before the tooth had completely fallen apart. Completely unprofessional behavior. You have lost my business. Thank you for reminding me why I stopped going here in the first place.

the actual visit itself was not too bad. the dental assistants are very nice, and helpful. on the other hand since writing the initial review, things have changed... i had a sever infection, it was not bothering me badly but then in a day and a half it was unbearable. i called around and this particular dentist could see me soonest. he drained infection, and gave me antibiotics. normal stuff but the pain only got worse. and where was my "dentist" on a fishing trip for 3 or 4 days. not that i minded that but it was now Friday and i couldn't get an appointment anywhere as options are limited here. i called his cell a few times and finally he picked up. he said to text him the pharmacy I wanted to get some Tylenol 3 sent to, and my DOB. I did, and had no response.... i called a couple times and he never answered. he then texted me at 6:56, and said he never got my texts. I understood and sent a few more messages, a pic of the new massive blood bubble I had developed, and called again left a message on his voicemail. he only texted back the next evening after 6 and said he is home, is there anything he can do? i let him know i was admitted to the hospital, and that I needed the tooth pulled. he never messaged or called me back! I had been getting worse, and worse. i was released from the hospital Sunday night with instructions to return and get my tooth pulled. I went to DR. Aste in Manti. he is much more skilled, and professional. I wouldn't recommend this place, even if it was all we had around. it's worth the gas to drive elsewhere to get help.

I've always had good experiences here. I've never had a problem with billing and they've been good to get my kids in when we've had emergencies
