Abundant Dental Care of Murray

My dentist recently retired and I was fortunate to find Dr. Townsend and Murray Dental Care . I was able to get in quickly and the staff was very friendly and efficient. I was impressed with Dr. Townsend's expertise and quality of his care. I have never been a fan of going to dentist but I am very comfortable with Dr. Townsend and so happy to have found a new dentist for my family. I also like the convenience of the location. Close to the freeway and central location in the valley. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone that is searching for a dentist or looking to change.

They are amazing!!! Best experience ever. I looked up dentist near me, and Abundant Dental was one of many that popped up. But I'm big on reviews. So I did my due diligence and started reading. Absolutely impressed by past experiences shared on reviews. So I felt it was more than just rolling the dice. Its almost a sure thing. Lobby staff were great. My nurse Neha was awesome. Dr. Ashcraft was amazing. If there were more stars I'd give it. 5 STARS PLUS!!! Thanks you all. Recommend to my family and friends and anyone else who wants or need first class treatment.

I am so grateful there are offices like Murray dental care. It was such an inviting atmosphere. They offer complimentary amenities in their waiting room such as water, tea, and coffee. The staff is both professional and fun to engage with and they really care about what they are doing. Very personable and thorough. I was worried that I had a filling loose and they took the time to check and double check and even triple check to make sure everything was okay. They gave me the simple peace of mind that the filling was in fact just fine. They then took it a step further to do a fully comprehensive exam to make sure my dental health was at its optimal and I left there not only with clean teeth, but a better feeling about my dental health overall. They have a quality over quantity mentality and I could not be more pleased with how affordable their care plans are. They surpassed any expectation I could have ever had!

I came into Abundant dental in massive pain on both sides of my mouth right before Christmas.I was very skeptical at first. I was at 3 other dentist prior who didn’t do anything for me. I was financially in a bind.Dr Townsend and the amazing staff got me taken care of. I am so grateful for all they did for me. I would recommend to anyone needing dental work or cleaning. Also very general and quick. Thank you again from the bottom of my ❤️ heart. I now will be able to enjoy my holidays without throbbing pain . Thank you 🙏

UPDATE TWO: i received the refund as described in update one all of my interactions with Abundant dental team regarding this issue have been professional and courteous i have changed my original 2 star review to a 4 star and if my next visit goes as good as the resolution to this issue that visit should be a 5 star review. sometimes its not the issue you remember but how the issue is solved that is remembered most .
nice recovery i would recommend Abundant dental to friends in the future.
UPDATE ONE: I was contacted by a representative from Abundant dental regarding the issue described below. she was apologetic about all of this and asked a ton of questions to better train the staff at this location. she was extremely professional and helpful and insisted on refunding some of that additional cost that was encored after my original estimate was given. I've changed my original 2 star review to a 3 star for the great customer service in the aftermath of this google review. I will update this review again if and when they follow through with the partial refund promised during this phone call.

only two stars and here's why.
i went in for a root canal and wanted to be sedated
i will start with the negative.
at the end of all of this i was billed an additional $799.00
this is because the office staff did not ask the correct questions when they called my insurance company, my insurance company covers sedation dentistry for oral surgery and not for a root canal.
had the office staff done there jobs correctly and asked the correct questions this extra 800.00 dollars may have swayed my decision to be sedated. instead i went ahead with it as i was quoted a "worst case scenario" cost of around $1000.00 which i paid up front. i was contacted by the office staff from Abundant dental regarding the additional balance owed, when i asked why and explained that perhaps they didn't do there jobs to the best of there abilities and they should probably cut that additional cost a little bit like take off some of the mark up, profit and overhead costs, she said she would look into it and call me back the following day. she never called back! i received the bill in the mail three weeks later for the full amount and put a check in the mail the same day. that being said.
the office staff left a lot to be desired i felt like Mabey they had a relatively new front office staff?! the girls i dealt with were friendly but seemed to lack the knowledge necessary to manage there office responsibilities adequately.
now for the positive.
the dentist, dental assistant and hygienist were great and made me feel really comfortable. i would recommend anyone looking to be sedated for dental work to abundant dental of Murray however i would remind them to do there own research with insurance to find out what part of sedation is covered.
had there not been a mishandled call to my insurance for info on coverage this would have been a 5 star visit.

I was completely overwhelmed by the care and caring of Dr Capecelatro and his asst Rainey. They were so concerned about making sure I left the office pain free. I have always been afraid of dental work because of past bad experiences. I am no longer afraid, because of their dedication to their patients!

This place is awesome, the front desk staff are super friendly and attentive. Dr. Frye took great care of my teeth along with Jessica and Amy. They went above and beyond to make sure all of my questions were answered in detail and I was comfortable the whole time.

Everyone at Abundant dental care was amazing, Dr. Townsend, Dr. Hilton, Makayla, and the assistants and the front counter, everyone was amazing and very very helpful. They took me in on an emergency and took care of my tooth and the pain quickly. Best dentist team I’ve dealt with.

So I have a phobia of dentists. The smells and sounds are unbearable to me and can make me break into panic attacks. Today, I had to have two teeth emergency extracted to combat an infection. I have never been so relaxed in a dentist’s office before. They wanted me to be as comfortable as I possibly could, knowing of my phobia, and even offered me a blanket. It was an emergency last minute visit, and they were able to get me in within 10 mins of my call.

Best Dentist Experience!!!! From the front desk, making an appointment to the hygienist to Dr Townsend it was a great experience. He was patient with son to make sure he had a great first appointment to being clear about a course of treatment for my husband. We highly recommend Abundant Dental!
