We had a great experience at Gunnerson Dental! The atmosphere is clean and professional and the staff is kind and welcoming. Dr. Bradford was wonderful! He has a great bedside manner making you feel comfortable, even for my kids who don’t like going to the dentist! He takes the time to explain things so you actually know what is going on and the best course to take care of any problems. We will definitely be returning patients!!!

I have never liked going to the dentist but Gunnerson Dental does a great job at making me feel more comfortable and welcome. As a mother with young children it's so stressful to try and find someone to watch my kids for dentist appointments, when I haven't been able to find anyone the front desk staff at Gunnerson dental has been great and kept an eye on my kids while I got my work done. Their new dentist Dr. Bradford is absolutely fantastic. I know I'm in great hands and that he truly cares and is doing his best work always.

Kids went in to get there cavities filled, and I was very impressed on how well they did! The staff supplied some blankets and a movie for the kids to watch which made them very comfortable and content throughout the visit. Also they were both done within an hour with the two dentist on duty. Great experience!

I had a very positive experience today! The front office is very personable and makes me feel like VIP when I walk in the door. As for Dr. Bradford, I couldn’t ask for a better doctor! Gunnerson Dental really is to notch and worth my 5 stars.

I have enjoyed coming to Gunnerson Dental for several years ( I come from Bluffdale). My sister referred me here, and she was right, they are amazing! They are very caring and thorough! I know I am in good hands!

I did a lot of looking around and I am so so glad I chose this place. The environment is relaxing and inviting. Every single person I spoke to was so kind and very informative to me. I asked a lot of questions about everything going on, every question I could think, of and they had amazing answers for all of them and took the time to inform me on everything, even the small stuff. If you’re looking for a dentist that you’ll be proud to go to, then this will be the place for you!

I have found a very comfortable facility to maintain my dental hygiene I thought! 1st visit was a routine cleaning and initial exam which would include X-rays. Service performed with all insurance being presented at the beginning of the interview process. Procedures completed with only 1 X-ray not covered by insurance. X-ray was submitted to my insurance for $400.00. My insurance denied the charge for $400.00 and I was charged for the X-ray. I was charged $100.00 for the X-ray instead of $400.00 that was submitted to my insurance for. Scheduled 2nd cleaning for about 6 months later. 2nd cleaning the hygienist was wonderful and was the same hygienist I had for the 1st cleaning. Made it a little more comfortable. The facility it’s self is very comfortable and relaxing for a dentists office. Had contacted the office prior to my 2nd visit to make sure that my insurance would cover what they had planned for procedures to be performed. Day of appointment I arrived and was informed that my insurance benefits had gained some benefits. As the cleaning procedure started I was informed that they had a procedure to help reduce plaque by the hygienist. She told me a price and a little details of the procedure. Had me sign a form and completed the cleaning. At the end of the procedure I had 2 of the financial clerks come in the room while I was still seated and tell me that I owed $284.00 for today’s cleaning and wanted about $800.00 more for procedures that they wanted to also perform. Wanted me to give them a credit card at that moment to pay.
Now mind you that I had called week or before to see what I would possibly have as out of Pocket expense. Knowing already what procedure was planned they would know what the charged would be? NO! That’s not how they do things…..
One part I did not provide yet is that Gunnerson dental Does Not Except Medicaid or State health benefits but if you have supplemental insurance to support state health assistance Gunnerson dental financial department will strip your benefits from your policy with a SMILE!
I even went in the office to ask for some explanation and got a smile and the offer to pay balance within 3 months. Really?
Now in between my 1st cleaning and 2nd I did go to another dentist. Had 1 root canal, 3 fillings and a complete deep cleaning. My insurance has covered each and every procedure.
Gunnerson did txt me after my 2nd cleaning after I asked directly that they were only billing my United Healthcare and Does not recognize Medicaid or Medicare.
Do not want to judge but with reading some of the other reviews might be a regular method that they observe. They only provide limited information until patients are in the chair to where they are almost tied down into obligating the patient to a bill or possible inflated charge or charges. Seems like from some of the comments X-rays have a more open range for them to charge.
I think it’s time to start asking others questions to some of these different insurance companies that Gunnerson Dental have submitted claims to? Being everyone is a separate case no one reviews these cases as a group?
Maybe it’s time for those who have questions we all Unite and ask Why?

Dr. Gunnerson and his team has just been great to work with! I’m almost done with the weaning process and over the last 15 weeks, I’ve noticed an overall improvement in my jaw. The biggest improvement that gets me emotional and excited is how much more balanced I am! If you suspect any TMJ/Sleep Apnea problems, consider a consultation with Dr. Gunnerson in Utah county.

I’ve never been to a dentist before that seems to care for you not only as a patient but as a person. This has been the best experience and so glad I made an appointment here at Gunnerson Dental!
