Stonehaven Dental

My family has been going to Stonehaven Dental in Provo for years. They are by far the best dental practice we've gone to in Provo. Everyone is professional, yet warm. The front office staff is very helpful answering all my insurance questions. The hygienists are thorough and friendly (especially Kalani!). The dentists (Moody and Neilson) are personable and do a great job -- they have never pushed us to get unnecessary work done. Dr. Moody did braces for two of my kids and it took half the time as my other child that we took to an orthodontist. In all these years we've only had two problems (because of under trained dental assistants) and the office apologized profusely and credited our account. Everyone greets us by name, remembers us, offers us water, and we love the freshly baked cookies. Thank you Stonehaven in Provo for making our dental visits something we look forward to!

I always have a great experience at Stonehaven. I highly recommend. I had several cavities filled at once, and I didn't feel a thing. The dental hygienists are so nice and helpful. Dr. Neilson is the best.

This is a great place to go for all your dental needs. Drs Moody and Nielsen are very fine dentists who go the extra mile to make your experience a good one. The staff are really efficient and willing to help. Jamie is a skilled dental hygienist. She makes having your teeth cleaned a fun event. You need to go here if you don’t already.

My wife and I had some routine dental work done here in the fall of 2018. We paid for it all up-front (about $1600) and went on our way. We're trying to purchase a home, and I noticed my credit score had suddenly dropped by almost 100 points in the last month. Turns out Stonehaven sent me to a collection agency for a past-due bill.

I was super confused, so I called Stonehaven to figure out what happened. No one from the office picked up, so it went to their "patient services" office up in Salt Lake. I assumed it was some sort of misunderstanding and the man I spoke with was very nice and shared my sentiments about being confused. He told me that it looked like my insurance didn't end up covering as much as expected, so we owe another $370. They had no record of ever trying to contact me about the bill and then just decided to send me to collections a year and a half later. The gentleman told me he left a message with the Provo office for a manager to call me asap.

That was three days ago. I called the office myself today and no one picked up, so it went to patient services again. At this point, I'm understandably very upset. This isn't something that can just be resolved in a few weeks or a month. This needs to be fixed like TODAY. This shouldn't even be an issue because I have had an excellent credit score for years, but now we're facing limitations with our mortgage options because they never bothered to reach out to me.

I guess I should have read more reviews before going here, because apparently I'm not the only one who has been unexpectedly sent to collections. It's really unfortunate too because overall we were pleased with the actual dental work, but apparently there is no other way to reach these people. I'm just severely disappointed. What a poor way to conduct business.

I’ve been going to Stone Haven Dental in Provo since 2012 when it was Provo Dental. The staff, Hygienists, assistance, administration, and doctors are all amazing and so professional. Doctor Moody has been my dentist for years. He’s done hours and hours of incredible work on me, and I’ve never had any issues. I trust Stone Haven Dental in Provo because they are always transparent, professional, and do great and lasting work.

I'm a 25 year old man and I hate going to the dentist.

I went here to get a root canal and they did it with out any problems.

I was so satisfied with the service that I had them do my wisdom teeth that I have been holding off since I was 19.

Dr moody was hands down the most gentle and careful dentist I have ever had I was up and ready to go just a few days later.
