This guy is the real deal. Highly skilled and knowledgeable. He is very patient with questions; answers thoroughly. He genuinely wants you to understand and be comfortable with everything he does. He uses modern techniques but does no unnecessary procedures.
I went in with legitimate fear based on what other dentists had told me about the work I needed to get done. But I don’t have to be afraid of getting this work done here. His technique is thorough and careful and actually gentle, like so many dentists falsely claim.
These reviews here use words like “painless” that I had to experience first hand to believe. At any dentist, hopefully the numbing shot is the worst pain. Dr. Cox has devoted serious effort to make even those shots almost completely painless. He knows well in advance if you will feel anything with any procedure and he prepares you for it.
His assistants are also great. They pay very close attention and help him be extra thorough with the procedures. Everyone is very warm and kind. They really put you at ease.
Last but not least, his reception staff does a really excellent job with scheduling. You actually get to be seen by Dr. Cox at your appointment time. I never see anyone having to wait in the waiting room.

We love Dr Cox and his staff!! They are all incredibly kind and patient! Our whole family (7) is seen at Dr Cox office. One of our children has special needs and was very anxious at the dentist (previously sedated for dental care) but with the patience Dr Cox and his staff has shown, we have slowly worked from her just sitting in the chair to full cleanings!!!! Dr Cox has such a gentle touch, his shots are painless. As a tween, another daughter, had to have 4 teeth removed and had no complications and was completely comfortable the whole time.
We love coming here, they make us feel important, safe and welcome.
