Blue Ridge Family Dentistry

On a referral from a friend, I scheduled at Blue Ridge, as I had been struggling to find a place where I was comfortable (as comfortable as you can be at the dentist). I genuinely believe that you'll be hard pressed to find a better dental practice than Blue Ridge Family Dentistry. Recently, while getting my cleaning and checkup, I could hear the dentist, Dr. Solis, chatting with a couple of young kids while they were having something done - It was like he was their best friend. At BRFD the staff is wonderful and welcoming. The assistants, hygienists, and Dr. Solis are all true professionals (and respectful of each other, which is a big deal to me). Treatments are explained and performed with skill and care. I would feel comfortable recommending them to anyone I know.

Looking for a new dentist, I chose Blue Ridge because of the proximity to my home. I am a new patient but, so far, I give them 5 stars. I really like Dr Almzayyen and Stephanie, the hygienist who cleaned my teeth. Everyone made me feel very comfortable.

Absolutely incredible staff & doctor. I have been to several dentists over the years due to moving and having an extensive dental history, and Blue Ridge Family Dentistry has been by far my favorite. Stephanie was terrific & very informative. Dr. Al was remarkably knowledgeable & caring. I look forward to working with their team in the near future. I can't speak their praises enough.

Great dentist office. Stephanie is my hygienist. She told me that the hygienist work with the same clients. She walked me through step-by-step of what she was doing and explained to me what everything meant. I told her and Dr. Almzayyen about my fear of the dentist and how I would rather then knock me out. They are super understanding and friendly. Highly recommend to others.

I have the biggest fear of the dentist, however from the very first phone call, I felt my nerves calming down. When I arrived, I was greeted with a smile and was given a tour of the facility to help me become comfortable. Every person I came in contact with was very pleasant to me. Dr. Al was very kind and even went out of his way to call me later in the day to check on me after pulling a wisdom tooth. To top it off, I didn't even need to take any medicine. I look forward to many more visits to this office for my dental care.

Stephanie is a great hygienist and Dr. Al is cool and collected. Really good atmosphere and modern equipment. They always compliment me on my teeth but they are just as much responsible for my great smile as I am.

I was looking for a dentist and when i called to schedule it the lady took all my information and everything was fine, when they called to confirm there was a time mix up and when i told the lady she proceeded to get rude with me and said i was the one who made your appoint and it was for this time and not your time and basically called me a liar. I told her she can cancel my appointment and i would take my business else where. I decided to give them call again because i wanted a second opinion, and I called to see if they did a payment plan and once again the lady was rude. When you wonder why your not getting new patients its because of your staff.

Dr. Al and his staff did a great job of welcoming me and making me feel comfortable. I had to do an emergency root canal and they made time in the schedule the same day, and more importantly, they explained each step, explained each option, let me choose, and took away all the fear and apprehension I had about the procedure, plus I had a new crown the same day! They also managed to get a cleaning in for me and wife while we were waiting for the machine to finish, keeping us from having to come back next month. The facility is clean and everything is brand new and the staff are super are super friendly. Dr. Al even called me a few days later to see how I was doing. Top marks for Dr. Al!

My experience with Dr. Al was very positive. He showed me the x-rays of my tooth that needed work and explained the procedure in great detail. It is very obvious that he is well-educated and well experienced in dentistry. He also made me feel comfortable during the entire process. I would highly recommend him.

I just left from my 1st appointment with Blue Ridge family dentistry. The staff is amazing, everyone is beyond professional and friendly, even when I felt I was being a little difficult on the phone. The doctor seems very knowledgeable and is very straightforward, I am very comfortable going to him for my dental work. Candyce was a ray of sunshine and I have never enjoyed a cleaning more. Nor have I ever learned more from a cleaning than I did today. I can't believe that I actually ENJOYED the dentist for once. Can't wait to go back!

Edit: Candyce even gave me "swallow breaks" without me having to ask which is a big deal cause I nervously swallow lol. She is so accommodating and makes you feel comfortable.
