Been going here for years and the one time I needed anything more than a cleaning was horrible on the billing and insurance side. My out of pocket cost was way higher than their insurance estimate. I appealed with insurance which took forever and they kept sending me bills with finance fees during the appeal process. Less than a week after I got a letter from insurance finally saying that the procedure was not medically necessary (that’s shady too by the way because maybe it wasn’t) I called to confirm and was told I had to make a payment right away so it wouldn’t go to collections. They tried to make it sound like they were doing me a favor by removing the financing fees. I’ll be looking for a new dentist.

A large filling from a broken tooth over 20 years ago finally started to fail so I had to have a crown installed. I'm wearing the temporary crown now. Dr. Doss and "Sam" the dental assistant were friendly and professional. Dr. Doss ensured the area around the tooth to be worked was numb. She asked multiple times if I the area was numb and if I was okay. Sam's work was was excellent as she teamed with Dr. Doss on the tooth then fitted the temporary crown. A very competent and pleasant team who did a great job.

I arrived early for my appointment only to be greeted by a sign saying that they were closed for a staff Halloween party. While I do not begrudge a Halloween party, I would appreciate a notice telling me that the door to the office would not open until 2 p.m. Also, my hygienist was late getting me in - not by much, but I am taking a calculated guess that there was a television program on, creating interest. Other hygienists were taking their patients in at 2 and I was waiting. Great company and I have been there for a while.

I am a new patient that came in initially for a new crown in the spring, and I needed to come in for a new patient cleaning and x-rays.
they are working with all the COVID-19 precautions in place,
and had it well organized, my appointment was a long one as it involved a cleaning inspection and x-rays- but I was continuously attended to and i thought they managed everything very efficiently.

Dr. Andy is amazingly skilled! He recently performed a dental implant for me. Through the process, Dr Andy was extremely compassionate and very efficient! He ensures you are comfortable and without pain - which I never experienced any neither during or after the procedure. He is probably one of the most gifted dentists I have encountered in my almost 50 years. I have had my fair share of dental procedures and so glad I found Dr Andy- two more implants to go! I’m in great hands and have zero anxiety! Thank you Dr Andy Estill, you are exceptional!

So, scheduled my appointment 6 months ago, for today. Only received one reminder call (usually, for years, I receive at least half a dozen calls, emails, and texts, whether or not I confirm or not.) but because of my schedule and the long holiday weekend, I was unable to return their call. Ok, no problem, I have the appointment in my calendar so planned my day around it. Thank goodness for the 6 month reminder of the date (no time given). I show up and call to see if they have any curbside check-in, which they do not. Ok, so I go in and sign in. Then get asked my name and when my appointment was. Cool, no issue. I tell them all the info and they tell me my appointment is about two hours later. I then asked why? They said it had always been scheduled for that time on this day. I acknowledge that I must have entered in my phone calendar incorrectly, but ask why I didn’t get notifications of my appointment time. They then told me they tried to contact me several times. I turned my phone to them, to inform that, that was incorrect, as evidence. So I left because I had planned my day around the time I had in my calendar, because of work schedules.

I called later to talk the office manager, she answered and we spoke. I asked why I hadn’t received the communication that I usually do for my appointment, to which she responded, “yeah, we call once now and u get a text about an hour before your appointment.” ... WHAT?!! Usually u call/text half a dozen times, why wasn’t this communicated? Well that’s what we are doing now. Ok... then I inquire why they r not doing curbside checkins. She replied “We aren’t doing curbside because we can’t come out to your car to clean your teeth.” ?? Seriously?? How old are you?? Do I honestly think you are going to come out to my vehicle to clean my teeth. That’s insulting. But she repeats that they can’t come out to the vehicle to clean my teeth. I reiterated that I was talking about curbside checkin, which by the way, the pediatrician next door is currently doing with multiple signs on the building. Also, when in the waiting room, prior to walking out, the chairs are not 6” apart which the office manager said was fine in the distance. (Have u ever been to a dentist office. Do I think they clean anything when patients get up to go back?, nope. Not here either)

Summary, very poorly run facility with no care for patient safety during a pandemic, in which you have to remove a mask to be taken care of. And when asked if I wanted to reschedule my appointment from the office manager, I just couldn’t believe my ears, with how clueless she was about their service, but defending it and saying we require mask worn I the office until we clean your teeth.

No thanks. Buh-bye. Enjoy, even if there wasn’t a pandemic currently an issue. Not super confident about their safety protocols, non-pandemic.

I will find a new facility.
