She was friendly, gentle, thorough, and explained each step. Dr. Wolberg was friendly, professional and explained my treatment plan clearly so I understood my options. The service is exceptional, all of the hygienist's are professional and personable and make everyone feel comfortable when visiting. Dr. Wolberg is very good and takes his time with you, making sure you understand what your dental procedures are and what your treatment plan will look like.

Dr. Wolberg is wonderful with children and adults. My 13 yo son was very distraught about having to get a cavity filled. Dr. Wolberg and his staff were able to calm him down and my son received the care he needed. Dr. Wolberg and his assistant showed or told my son everything they were doing or about to do and what to expect. They were very understanding of my son’s anxiety about the procedure. They were empathetic and got him through. My son was smiling when we left the office. The dental hygienists and dental assistants are just as good. The office staff could not be any nicer. I drive myself, and my children, 45 minutes one way to be patients for this practice. I’m very pleased with Cedarwood Dentistry.

First, let me start off by saying that I believe in giving everyone a fair chance. My former dentist retired after many years and sold the practice to Dr. Wolberg. I will say that Dr. Wolberg, and everyone at the practice, is very pleasant. The office and exam rooms are very clean. The level of service I was receiving was fine until my last two appointments. Last month, I visited Dr. Wolberg for a cleaning, as well as an exam due to a problem I was having. At the cleaning, I mentioned that I was experiencing pain and I was told that nothing abnormal was detected. I was told to come back if the pain persists. I returned and explained the problem had not gotten better but worse. At that time, x-rays were taken again and I was told nothing was detected on it. I was referred to an endodontist. I explained that I was in an extreme amount of pain…but Dr. Wolberg instructed that I take over the counter pain reliever. The pain continued to get worse and I began to notice pain in my jaw.
I decided to go for a second opinion. It is important to note that another dentist reviewed the x-ray from Dr. Wolberg’s office. To my surprise, the other dentist IMMEDIATELY detected an abscess on the x-ray, plus another one that was forming. The second dentist pointed the abscesses out to me on the x-ray. I am unsure how Dr. Wolberg could have missed this!
It took two rounds of antibiotics and prescription pain killers to cure this. I am doing much better now. This was detrimental to my oral health..and time wasted that could have been spent on the road to recovery. I do not plan to return.

Dr Wolberg was very helpful when I came to him for a second opinion on dental work recommended by my current dentist. He was very informative regarding older fillings and issues that he observed. If I decide to discontinue appointments with my current dentist, I will definitely come to Dr Wolberg.
