I was a patient of this clinic for several years and have personally referred at least 5 people to this office and never though I would have to leave this review and find a new clinic as I had always felt I got great care from everyone in the office (front desk assistants and both Drs) today I had a dental emergency and called in the person that answered the phone was very unprofessional she answered the phone but did not answer it like I was calling a business she answered the phone as if it was a personal call and was laughing. But it got worse I tried to tell her I though I should be seen since I was having some painful inflamed gums.. first she accused me of being sick. I had to explain I have allergies. She than proceeded to make me feel like I deserved to be in pain because I had not done the treatment plan they previously suggested. covid is a big deal not everyone feels safe to be going out and about unless it is a emergency. I was than told that I need a root canal. Again I tried to explain to her that itβs not so much the tooth but the gums.
I was than told everyone is busy until the new year but I could call Dr Gorig and see if he can do the root canal for me.
I asked her if I should try and see my primary Dr as I feel like itβs less of a tooth issue and more of a inflammation of my gums and If I do have a infection I obviously do not want to wait. She made it seem like I was wasting her time but she could maybe see if Dr would be willing to see me at 1 but they would still be referring me out to the endodontic clinic for the root canal. I was frustrated and on the verge of tears and told her I would take care of it.
I called a different dental office within a hour of my call I was at the office for my exam. My concern was value adated as the Dr told me I did not need a root canal it was a gum tissue problem.
I know they have newer front desk staff but them being the first person a patient or potentially new patient deals with it reflect on the business and no one should feel the way I felt today when calling.

Long over due! I found Dr. Persinger in 2012 when I moved to Lacey. Hes absolutely fantastic, as is his team! Heβs so great that even when I moved back up North of Seattle I have still gone to his office for my cleanings. Heβs great with kids, my daughter started seeing him at 9 years old. I liked his office so much that I recommended my sister and my little nephew (4 years old) see him too. If youβre looking for a great office, look no further!

Dr. Jared was great! Iβm always nervous at the dentist but felt very comfortable at his office and under his care. I had a lot of work to be done and he made time to do it all. My teeth feel great!!

If this review was limited in scope to the customer service, professionalism and caring of Dr. Jared Persinger and his team, it would be five stars. However, I recently was denied several times for a crown by my insurance provider and I want to highlight his persistence, values and commitment to his patients.
My insurance provider (which will go nameless, but I am retired military and the name starts with the letters U and C...) denied my preauthorization for a crown. A crown is the standard of care following a root canal and before a root canal was recommended, the tooth was visually cracked in several places across the surface and into the gums. Dr. Persinger submitted three different amendments to overturn the decision and even talked to the dentist employed by the insurance company, to no avail.
Dr. Persinger did not give up. In a last ditch effort, he contacted the state office for the insurance commissioner and within a day, the insurance company authorized the crown.
Dr. Persinger not only provides the most comfortable and technical dental work Iβve had, but as you can tell by my circumstance, he goes above and beyond to ensure his patients receive the care they deserve (and pay for). I highly recommend giving Lacey Family Dental a shot for your next checkup, cleaning, filling or whatever you and your families needs.
Respectfully,

Letβs be honest, no one enjoys going to the dentist for anything outside a cleaning. At this office I can honestly say that they make the uncomfortable and dreaded appointment very tolerable. They are efficient, explained everything that was going to be and was being done.....no surprises. I didnβt spend the entire day numb, Dr Persinger only numbs whatβs necessary. Not excited about my next crown, but not freaked out about it either. Dr Whistler (Hamburg) is also terrific! You should check them out!

What a delightful experience! Raquel was my hygienist and she did an amazing job. She was so gentle and very kind. I felt absolutely no pain while she was working on me. Dr. Persinger was straight forward, honest and very thorough. You can tell that he's a very good doctor and an all-around pretty good dude. I can't recommend them enough, I look forward to future visits.

Itβs been over a decade since Iβve seen a dentist. Of course I had some concerns stemming from no treatment, but they never made me feel ashamed or embarrassed. Instead I felt welcomed, cared for and was given the best treatment possible. They were not there to sell me on products and services I didnβt need, but instead gave me highly experienced and cost efficient treatment. Now my concerns are improving and I can smile more proudly! Thank you to all the staff at Lacey Family Dental for treating me like family and helping me improve my life.

I was dealing with pain for over seven years, but when I finally went to see Dr. Persinger, he recognized the problem right away and fixed it! Several dentists before him blamed the pain on a number of things, but were unable to fix the problem. Instead, they gave me pills for a sinus infection (which I didn't have) and continued to tell me to use sensodyne toothpaste (which didn't help). Dr. Persinger also recognized other areas that needed attention that other dentists never noticed. He's a perfectionist when it comes to dentistry, and I highly recommend him!

My girls went first. I was nervous for them. a 2 yr old and almost 4 year old. They had a blast and are excited to go back. I LOVED that they had a good experience. Then it was my turn and I was nervous (had a tooth ache) He caught some shoddy work I had done recently from a different dentist and fixed it as well as the dentist. It was pain free! Not normal for me at the dentist. I was and am thrilled my girls and I have him to go to. And I LOVE the staff!!!

Going to the dentist is never fun, but I recently had a major toothache going on and this couldn't wait. I needed a root canal and a crown during the beginning of our stay-at-home orders and they were able to get me in as it was deemed an "emergency". I honestly have never been taken care of better by a dental office. I can't thank Dr. Whisler and her team enough for fixing my tooth. There is nothing worse than tooth pain and I am happy to know there is somewhere I can go that really care's about their patients.
