I'm so happy I found Lake Stevens Smiles! Doug and Julie offer superior dental service in their Lake Stevens office, and they even work late on Tuesdays which is great for my working schedule. The hygienist staff are very thorough and in tune with the needs of the patient, while Doug and Julie offer professionalism and a caring approach to dental prevention and treatment. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their service to anyone looking for a dentist.

Came home today to find an invoice from Dr. Lum's office in the mail for $79 plus interest for a late cancellation notice. When I called to cancel the appointment (back in early June) I profusely apologized as this was a true last minute event and I explicitly asked the receptionist if there were going to be any issues with my last minute cancellation. She was extremely cordial and insisted that I shouldn't worry about it and that we could re-schedule the appointment at any time. At no point was there a mention of this fee.
While I understand that most professional offices nowadays charge these type of fees, I have never encountered one that would charge such a ridiculously high amount AND wait two months to send you an invoice AND charge you interest on top of everything.
Up to this point, I was under the impression I had found a great dental professional but it is now clear that they are deceptive at best. My family will not continue doing business with them. What a shame!

I never write reviews but this deserved attention for how poorly I was treated. Mind you I have been going here for 6 years. Everyone was amazing up until today. I no showed my last appointment (I know that is unacceptable) and I apologized- I have been dealing with mental health issues and have been seeking the help I need. However the front desk lady mocked me saying ‘everyone has problems in life’ and said I was kicked out from their business because of this. She told me ‘Dr. Brajcich is done with you and will not reschedule you.’ I have missed 2 appointments in the last couple of years and the first one I missed I called them 4 hours before my appointment because I had really bad vertigo and couldn’t even stand up. I had doctors notes if they needed it provided. I asked her if this was their policy and why I didn’t get any warning or documents stating this? She didn’t answer my question. She was very unprofessional. She laughed at me when I was getting upset. So yeah one star for Dr. Brajcich and his staff.

Dr. Brajcich is a caring and attentive dentist! I can't thank him enough for dealing with my anxiety when it comes to dental appointments. I have been a patient for years now and drive from Whidbey Island to see him and his great staff! He also gave me a perfect smile again with Clear Correct aligners after my teeth moved around as an adult and post braces. I honestly can't recommend Dr. Brajcich enough!
