Update 10-23-19... the office is so great. I love everyone there, only met the Doctors, but will be experiencing their handiwork soon.
I've always loved all the dental hygienists, technicians and front desk managers here. I truly love the young lady that sterilizes the equipment, and cleans the rooms, what a gem. I think they called her "Amy"? 😄 Everyone is always so nice and friendly and does a great job. Just met one of the new dentists (owners) and she seems great. I think I'll let her do my porcelain crown when it's needed. Tristin has cleaned my teeth the last couple of times and she is gentle and quick.

I have been going to Mount Vernon Smile Design for years. The staff are some of the most friendly people I've met in Washington. I appreciate that they don't try to sell products and procedures that aren't needed; if necessary, they do suggest what can be done. If everyone went here, no one would ever dread going to the dentist. My wife and I first went to Mount Vernon Smile Design last year while living out on San Juan Island. We then went back to live in the southeast for several months with no plans to come back except that I REALLY wanted to go to this dentist again (once you get a great dentist and dental hygienist you've got to hold onto them!) So I started looking for apartments in the PNW, ended up in Astoria (where we are now) and of course I made the 4+ hour drive purely to go back to the dentist! That may sound crazy, but if you know Dr. Whitney and Judy — my dental hygienist — you'd know it isn't. They put Mount Vernon on the map (them and that awesome little Thai place downtown). Coming here both improves your smile and makes you smile! I'm so glad I found them!

I can tell you that I have a long-standing fear of the dentist and avoided going for years, due to past bad experiences. At the recommendation of a friend, I started going to Mount Vernon Smile Design (before the Forsythe team took over), and I have had only positive experiences. Both Whitney and Nick are fantastic dentists and show great care and concern for their patients. Just when setting up an appointment or coming into the office, I feel like they know me. Everyone is warm and welcoming, and in an authentic way - not artificially sweet, but very genuine. Honestly, I can't say enough positive things about my experiences here (as someone that used to HATE going to the dentist). They have gone above and beyond for me...snuck me in when there were no openings, and responded quickly when I needed assistance.

Best dental office I have ever been to!! Incredible from the minute I walked in the front door to the completion of my visit. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming with excellent customer service skills. Had a very big cavity in the back upper tooth after neglecting going as often as I should, and was treated very well and accommodated greatly to be able to fill the tooth comfortably. Very nice people, and have been going there for around 12 years now. Dr. Edmonds retired and was great, but the new dentists are also amazing and very nice! Would recommend to ANYONE looking for a new dentist or wanting to get back in routine.
