Loved this experience. They were able to squeeze me in in a short time. The dental hygienist, Rachel, made me feel relaxed and explained everything to me. Thank you all for the awesome and relaxing experience.

My family has been going to Dr Oakes for years. I have always had a pleasant experience with all the front desk staff, hygienists, and Dr Oakes himself. I'd recommend this office to anyone.

As someone who has a serious apprehension about going to the dentist, and after 25 years of avoiding dentists at all costs, what an absolutely perfect experience! A root canal I'm guessing is not the experience anyone ends up talking about positively. Because of the kindness and professionalism from Oaks Family Dental, it's only right to provide some insight for anyone researching a new possible dentist.

After four visits to complete the work, each time I was greeted with a friendly smile, genuine friendliness and casual conversation. Each time they remembered conversations from the last visit, asking how things were going, with an unbelievable friendly and caring demeanor. A little singing should be expected, along with a dentist and assistant who instinctually pick up on any discomfort, immediately stopping to ask if you're doing okay. This level of a total wow experience is rare, and absolutely deserves to be complimented!

Our family has been going to Dr. Oakes for several years. We are always welcomed into the office with a warm greeting and smile. The staff is professional and friendly which helps take the anxiety out of anticipated dental work. Dr. Oakes is easy to talk to and takes the time to listen to any dental concerns. In addition, He's been available to our family for immediate care during a few dental emergencies. I highly recommend Oakes Family Dentistry... you will receive exceptional care!

I've always dreaded dental work. 'Took a chance with Oakes Family Dentistry and I'm so glad I did, I've had nothing but great experiences in the visits I made in the last month. Best root canal I've ever experienced. I found my new dentist. 🙂

I’ve been going to Oaks for a few years. Each time they are efficient with wait time and listen to any concerns I have. They are professional and do a great job.

I asked for a replacement retainer, was told that they make these for $250. Then, when I picked it up, they changed the cost to $345 (saying they decided to get me a better retainer than the one I asked for). Then, my insurance tells me that they billed a "package" of $690.
After multiple visits and insurance phone calls, I just paid, because what else can I do? I feel completely taken advantage of. It's an unfortunate cost of medical care that happens all too often. Dentists and doctors will bill for as much as possible, passing the burden on to the patient and insurance has no say over how much they charge. All of this for a cheap retainer that fits terribly.
They're a business, but one that unfortunately just wants to make money. I feel bad they are doing this to folks in the community.

Dr. Oakes has created a comforting and professional environment, where each patient feels adequately attended to. I had a cleaning done today by a lovely and polite hygienist. Although I showed up ten minutes late, I got great treatment and no grief for my tardiness. Dr. Oakes is extremely personable and really funny, which is comforting when you’re afraid of going to the dentist. He even told me he watched the Bachelor and we dished about last season. You feel like family when you come into his practice. 10/10 recommend visiting Oakes family dentistry for any dental needs!!

I had a dental emergency & was able to get in promptly the same day to address the problem, relieving a lot of undue stress wondering how it would be resolved. Dr. Oakes is always kind and professional.

I have been going to Dr. Oakes for over 10 years! He has always been professional and made it easy to complete my cleanings. Recently I needed implants and he did a great job.
