I have to take a moment and give a shout out to Dr. Casper & the whole WRFD team. I had a broken tooth that was going to have to be extracted and replaced with an implant and honestly, I was a nervous wreck about it. Dr. Casper and everyone at West Richland Family Dental were incredibly patient, thorough, and accommodating in dealing with both my anxiety and the actual procedure to take care of my issue. As someone who has always had plenty of stress around dealing with trips to the dentist, I can't recommend these professionals strongly enough. At every stage of the process they projected calm and reassuring capability that put even me at ease.

If you have any sort of dental anxiety, this practice treats you with respect and kindness. Excellent and efficient work by the dentist and his staff. The front office is helpful and willing to work with you to explain payments and ease with appointments.

I love this place! I am a huge baby when it comes to going to the dentist and after reading the Google reviews I chose West Richland Family Dental. This was the best decision I've ever made when it comes to Dentists. From the hygienist (who was awesome...so kind and informative) to Dr. Madsen who took the time to explain everything. I cannot recommend WRFDC any higher!

I got my top two wisdom teeth taken out today by Dr. Madsen and was in and out of the office in 45 minutes, no pain at all during the procedure, and Dr. Madsen and his assistant Brandi were happy to see me even though it was early (7 am). I always look forward to my appointments at WRFD because my hygienist Loretta and my dentist Dr. Madsen are super friendly, knowledgeable and amazing at what they do. Both Loretta and Dr. Madsen have worked here for a very long time and have a lot of experience under their belts. Thanks WRFD!

WRFD has been my dental choice for many years. The reason I always return there is my hygienist Leanna Collins. She makes every member of my family feel comfortable and well taken care of every visit. We would be lost without her!!

The West Richland Family Dental Center has drastically declined since I originally became a patient. Jeta, the hygienist who assisted me was both discourteous and lacking in skill. When she failed to provide me with a pair of the usual glasses, I explicitly requested one, only to be ignored the first time. After a second request was made, she finally handed me a pair. Then when it came to the cleaning itself, she told me to hold onto the water pik myself, which I found odd, especially since I mentioned my arthritis to her. Never before at West Richland Family Dental nor any other dental office have I been asked to do that. If they couldn’t get an assistant to help the hygienist to help right away, why wouldn’t the dental office just wait to schedule the appointment? It wasn’t until much later that an assistant was able to get in and help Jeta. Overall, the cleaning itself was not comprehensive. Even the Tri-Cities Community Health dental office does a more thorough job at deep cleaning my teeth. The hygienist didn’t even treat my teeth with fluoride which is covered by my dental plan 100%. I just wish Judy wasn’t retiring, or else I could have requested her instead of Jeta. Judy is a five star hygienist and it is sad to see her leave West Richland Family Dental Center because she is so good at her job. Finally, when the dentist came in to check up on me, I felt like I was just one of many paychecks to him, rather than a patient worthy of being examined. Ever since Jeff Schroeder left the office, the decline in the quality of care has been bad. Luckily, the sweet office personnel like Robin and Molly helped to keep this visit from becoming a total nightmare, but they are the only saving grace of this sinking ship.

Wow! Dr. Maxfield and Ashley were absolutely professional and worked as a wonderful team when they extracted my wisdom tooth!!! I barely felt a thing! I recommend this dentist office to anyone of all ages!

I have been a long time patient of Loretta Gerig’s. She is awesome, and takes the time to answer all your questions. Front staff works hard to get you in in a timely manner! All around great experience.

Very friendly and personable staff, as soon as I walked in the door I was greeted and helped by a member of the team. Dentist and his team were very informative and very gentle with my teeth/gums. Will definitely be going back.
