Dr. Dietzel saved the day when I had the worst toothache ever. He set me up on an affordable and workable schedule to get my teeth healthy and back on track to be able to smile again. The staff is super friendly, caring and very gentle, didn't feel a thing. Also amazing with kids my 11 year old didn't even know he had a shot. Would recommend 10 out of 10

Dr. Jacquinot is the best dentist- both personable and professional. He always answers, respecting my interest in making decisions. Staff at his practice are wonderful, too. Hygienists are highly skilled and personable, too. I used to request topical anesthetic for cleaning, but here, I don't have to. I first went to Platteville Dental just because of living in Platteville. Now I travel 75 miles each way. I tried a dentist closer to where I live, once, and found the drive was totally worthwhile.

Dr. Joel completely changed my smile. He, and his kindly assistant have the warmest bedside-manner. I highly recommend this practice. My confidence has been boosted to an uncanny level. From the receptionist, to the hygienists, to the dental assistants to the doctors themselves, everyone was warm, clean, professional and amazing. I can't stop smiling with my cute new teeth.

Switched to Oakpark Dental due to a bad experience at Platteville Dental. I even notified them about me being unhappy about this experience and the response I got was: "Sorry to hear that." There wasn't anything else.
Quite a long story for a review, but slightly longer version: took someone else I know to Platteville Dental because she had emergency tooth pain. They were going to take an x-ray for her, but it didn't work when we got there!... Okay fine... They took her and poked around her teeth. Said it was hard to tell, but they'd still give us a recommendation to go to an oral surgeon just in case. They said they'd let us know when the x-ray was back up because there wasn't any other good options to get an x-ray (which isn't true since Oakpark Dental could - but whatever). Had to pay for the visit despite nothing working right and the disappointing tooth inspection. (Long story again)
Went to Oakpark Dental. Much better experience. Plus they examined her teeth more closely... actually using dental tools (which didn't happen at Platteville Dental) and took pictures with another tool of her teeth... So I'm switching not just because of the bad experience in itself, but just watching the two places take care of a situation with someone in pain. I wasn't impressed with how Platteville Dental handled our situation. I get it that machines might not work, but how you handle these situations matter and Platteville Dental failed at this IMHO.
My negative review excludes one of the ladies at the front desk. She tried to be helpful and great.
Edit: They sent me a check refunding me with the amount with a hand-written apology letter saying they had a staff meeting about this situation. So hopefully things are better now.
