They upgraded my denture which was double the price without my knowledge or consent. They took twice as long as informed to produce said upgrade. They then said there would be a charge for third and final adjustment which should have been included in total package. They also fought me the entire time over appointments. Buyer beware.

I had to have my wisdom teeth extracted, and my experience with the dentist and dental hygienist was fantastic. They did a great job extracting the teeth and making me feel comfortable. The reason this isn't 5 stars is because of the issues with the front desk.
I submitted my insurance during my introductory visit in Dubois. My card was taken, I was told the info had been submitted. Weeks later I go to Lander for the wisdom teeth extraction. I arrived at 9am for my 9:30 appointment. I was greeted, checked in and given the Covid-19 questionnaire. No mention of my insurance from the receptionist, so I assumed everything was entered in Dubois. I was sedated for the extraction. My mother-in-law picked me up after the procedure where on our way out she was told I had to pay $1,400 for the procedure before I could leave. My mother-in-law said there should be insurance on file, but the receptionist said there wasn't any to be found. Thankfully she did not pay the bill and insisted we would find out why the insurance wasn't on file before anything else happened.
Come to find out, my husbands date of birth was hard to read on the card, according to the receptionist in Dubois, and was not entered after all. Why wasn't I or my husband called to verify his date of birth? Why was my mother-in-law made to feel like she had to pay $1,400 while I was sedated? Why wasn't any of this brought up before my appointment? I know I need more work done on my teeth, but this experience gives me pause about coming back. I feel not calling to verify my husband's date of birth, not mentioning insurance or even asking how I plan to pay BEFORE I was sedated, and then putting my mother-in-law, my designated driver, under pressure to pay my bill was unprofessional. All of this was easy to avoid.
Update: I received a phone call from the dental office in regards to this review and it was explained to me that the reason my insurance wasn't asked about when I got to my appointment early was because they saw I was from Dubois and many people who come in from Dubois, according to the dental office, pay cash and they don't ask for insurance. I find it interesting that they apparently have a policy of some sort to contact people in regards to reviews, but not to get information to submit their insurance into the system. I also think it's interesting to assume that someone is paying cash just because they're from a certain town. Again, unprofessional and unacceptable.

As a healthcare provider I feel it is appropriate for Clients and staff to be required to wear masks. The staff here is very good a infection control but clients are not asked to wear masks in the waiting room.
