DON'T GO TO DENTAL ON CENTRAL! My daughter needs a root canal. We were referred by our dentist to see an endodontist at dental on central. After calling for an appointment they learned what insurance we had and said they couldn't see us for several months. When we told them we were referred by our brother in law who is a dentist, they gave us an earlier appointment that was only a month and a half away. After coming in for her appointment they said that they wouldn't do the root canal that day, we needed to schedule another appointment. But of course they didn't have any appointments available for another month. So after waiting two and a half months to have a Root canal done on an 11 year old with an infected tooth, the day of her appointment finally arrived. Only before we were even called back to see the Dr. The office manager called us into her office and said that my daughter needed to be sedated because they wouldn't be able to get her numb. When I explained that my brother in law was able to get her numb, and already removed most of the nerve, the office manager said "I don't think this is going to work" so I said "okay, may I please speak with the Doctor? When the Doctor came in he said that she needed to be sedated because she couldn't open her mouth wide enough. But he had never seen my daughter, or checked to see how wide she could open her mouth. How is sedating someone going to enable them to open her mouth further? unless they dislocate her jaw! They Clearly didn't like our insurance so they kept pushing our appointment back, and by throwing in an anesthesiologist they could make more money. I'm not willing to put my daughter to sleep under sedation unnecessarily so that they can make more money. This practice of putting someone on sedation when they don't need to be is illegal (insurance fraud) and should be reported to the dental board. My wife is a dental assistant and is well aware of how these cons are scamming the insurance.

Dear Mr Herro. Today I experience a completely unnecessary harassment by someone whom you hired to move vehicles from your parking lot. This man would not give me any of his information on whose property it was and who he was working for let alone a name. I was alone in this back parking lot when approached by this man who was very rude and demanding I leave or else. It’s very disappointing and unpleasant coming from our own community. Instead of this man explaining who the property belonged to and answering my question he followed me to my vehicle with his hammer. Being a professional business I would think you all would have a better plan on how to handle these situations besides intimidate people of your own community. 0/10 for the owners

The staff at Dental on Central is friendly and polite. Dr. Herro was professional, caring and efficient. He spent time explaining the procedure and was so kind! The office is very clean and well kept. Great experience!

I visited this dentist for a broken crown because my regular Dr was closed due to COVID. The Dr examined me and we discussed my insurance coverage for both the crown and a partial plate, which would be done by a specialist. I was told that this specialist does not accept my insurance. I advised the Dr that this would not be an option, because of course I am not willing to pay out of pocket for a partial that could be done by a different specialist who WILL accept my insurance as 100% payment. The Dr then developed a treatment plan for my crown, which my insurance would cover, and the front office made an appointment for that.
I went in today for the tooth buildup. The same Dr I had seen previously examined my tooth again and said there are two options. (Here comes the issue.) He said, putting a crown on that tooth will likely cause any new partial to not fit properly, which would require remaking the crown, and a resulting decline from my insurance to pay for this second crown. Or, he could put the crown on it and hope it wouldn't be a problem for a new partial to fit.
We had already discussed, on my previous visit, that I needed a crown AND a partial, and that I would not be paying out of pocket. Why didn't he tell me at that time, about the conflict with the crown and partial plate? Why is he now telling me about these problems??? I asked him, Why am I even here today, since we have already discussed this and concluded that my insurance is my only option? Why did he even develop the treatment plan, knowing he could not provide insurance-authorized treatments that I could not pay for? His reply - it was a miscommunication with the front office! The front office had nothing to do with the conversation between him and me. He's shifting the blame, and maybe wanting the insurance payment for this unnecessary office visit.

They are kind and patient. Going to the dentist isn't usually fun, but they make the most of it and are always very pleasant. I'm very happy to have switched to them and plan on staying.

Why 4 Stars. Let's start with the "bad" and end with the good. It had been several years since going to a legit dentist. Was going to a dental practice that started with a B... many know of this place. I get to D on C, I went by old sign and not GPS. The lady was rude to me in explaining how I had gone wrong and when I refused treatment that girl was also ride. Now with the good Vanity was such a sweetheart and a peach. She was very patient and didn't lecture. A true experience. Thank you Vanity... 10 14 2020

The staff here is always great with my special needs son. They also fit us in the same day for an exam which I really appreciate.

I went here because their website specifically said they were good with anxiety, and they did not disappoint. I was given all the options for sedation, even up front, even without having "tried" to get me through an x-ray or cleaning appointment in the first place. I was not expecting that, and I was beyond grateful. I didn't have to white-knuckle anything.

Very precautious which made me feel very safe during my visit! First, a staff member must get you prior to walking in the office to check in. When waiting for your hygienist they have the chairs spaced out six feet apart and limit the amount of patients waiting in the room. Once you are taken to the back, they make sure you wash your hands and rinse your mouth out with peroxide. During your appointment the hygienist wears layers of masks and wipes down surfaces as they are used! After I did not have to check out and was able to go on my merry way!

I can only imagine that all these reviews were left by staff. After not going to the dentist for years because a horrible experience, my boyfriend referred this office. I was told I'd have the same Doctor for two appointments to fill several cavities and, as the second appointment rolled around, I learned firsthand that was false. I was also told I would get reminded phone calls the day before appointment and had a reminder phone call on a Friday before my appointment on Tuesday. Did not even get a reminder phone call for the second appointment. Upon filling these cavities, I was not given enough anesthetic and could feel drilling on certain teeth. This new young doctor (that was not the same as the surgeon I was assured would work with me) overfilled my cavities and took at least a half an hour trying to restore my bite to the perfect bite it was before the fillings. Unfortunately, as the anesthetic is wearing off, it is evident that my bite is STILL off. When asking the doctor if my bite was back to its original place,l because I was having to trust his judgement with half of my mouth being numb, he stuttered "well, looks pretty good". Before leaving, I asked for a mirror to look and my teeth (not my gums) were bleeding.
DO NOT GO WITH THIS DENTISTRY. It's not worth all the fake reviews all over google. Look at Yelp.
I have an appointment later today with a good friend who is a dentist (that I should have gone with in the first place) to take a look at the work I've just received. Something tells me I am going to have more dental work in my near future : '(
Do not chance it. Do not go with this dentistry. Not to mention, Dr.herro is never in the office. He is spread thin between other engagements in the dentistry world
