Had a cleaning here by Larissa Davis RDH, BS. I was extremely satisfied with the services she provided. Her attention to detail was outstanding. She really took the time and did a great job. She sternly explained what I needed to do to improve my dental hygiene at home but was very professional. I strongly recommend this professional should you need a cleaning!

The dentist recommended I have a scaling and root planing due to a mild case of periodontal disease I had developed. I hadn't seen a dentist in a few years and my gums would bleed while brushing. Because of this and research I did following the diagnosis, I didn't doubt a scaling and root planing (deep cleaning) would be beneficial. Larissa was the hygienist who did my scaling and root cleaning. I'm not a fan of having work done to my teeth (hence why I only visit the dentist every few years), but I wouldn't say I'm a difficult patient.
Larissa sensed when I was uncomfortable and stopped for little breaks during the procedure to allow me to relax again. She was also understanding when I had too much sensitivity and was generous with the topical anesthetic. Between her patience and professionalism, I was happy she was the one chipping away at the calculus that had accumulated on my teeth.
Today is the day after the procedure and my gums and teeth feel just fine. I'm scheduled to go back in 4 months for a checkup and cleaning (standard after having this procedure) and I hope to have Larissa as my hygienist.

Pinnacle Modern Dentistry has become my permanent dental office after deciding to visit them for a cleaning a few visits ago. And Larissa has become my permanent dental hygienist (I schedule with her every time) because she's friendly, professional, and puts me at ease while she's cleaning my teeth. I no longer sweat while in the dentist's chair.

Some of the reviews for this dentistry are very hard to believe considering my experience. I've been going there for 2+ years. Not once have they tried to "sell" me anything (except maybe fluoride during a cleaning, which every dentist does).
I have old silver fillings that two other dentists have told me should be replaced, but the owner of Pinnacle keeps telling me they look fine (will have to come out eventually but not now). He's 100% trustworthy in my book.
The place is pristine - as clean as could possibly be. The people that work there are fantastic. I've had several hygienists. Each one reads the notes they have on my and accommodate my "idiosyncrasies" without me having to say anything.
I've recommended this dentistry to several people. I've had many over the years - this one is the best.

They butchered my wisdom teeth so bad I had to go to the hospital twice and was unable to leave my bed for two weeks. Do not go here. Oh also the front desk lady doesn’t know how to do her job and gave me a year of insurance troubles because she doesn’t know how to submit a claim. The worst dentistry in all of Scottsdale.
