These guys find cavities and prevent further decay when others cannot. My children have always been taken care of well and I've been told when a cavity should wait or not. I've also been advised against procedures for my daughter that other dentists wanted to do right away because she is too young and it would have just been a waste. Sometimes fast, sometimes not as fast but always a pleasant experience.

I booked an appointment as a new patient several weeks ago. I had visited the office to schedule the appointment and introduce myself. Emily had helped me out and was courteous.

On 4/9/14 I arrived 7 minutes before my 3:40P appt. The receptionist didn't say a word until I greeted her. She gave a half-hearted 'hi'. I introduced myself and gave my appt. time. She responded with, "Nicole will be with you shortly."

A few minutes after my arrival another patient entered, checked in and sat down. In a matter of a few minutes she was summoned to the back. My curiosity as to how she was processed so quickly surprised me.

At 3:55P Nicole entered the lobby with her patient and their goodbye conversation lasted a few minutes. All the while I was watching my clock wondering how much longer I would have to wait. After Nicole's patient left, Nicole went to the receptionist's area and sat in front of a computer, most likely completing her last patient's report. I could not make out the conversation but after a few minutes the receptionist asked me to come up to the desk to fill out the 'new patient' forms.

I took the forms and began filling them out but then looked at my clock and it was 25 minutes into my appt. time. I decided that my first impression was so tainted that I didn't want to chance entering into a relationship where I may continue to be dissatisfied with the service.

I returned to the counter, handed back the clipboard, and told both receptionist and Nicole that I was not going through with the appointment. Both gave me a blank stare but said nothing as I exited.

Seeing as how these two employees not only provided unsatisfactory service, neither took the initiative to offer an apology. Knowing they had my phone number I even gave it a day to see if someone would call.

No call, so they get my review instead.

I may be too harsh in my judgement but given that there are dozens of dental practices to choose from, I want to make sure that I am completely satisfied with my choice.
