Dr. Deems and his team are awesome. Everyone there is always so friendly and communicative. Lucy is my hygienist and she is so gentle! Love her! Dr. Deems has performed a few procedures on me and I can say that his work is exemplary. He takes pride in his profession and explains any issues very thoroughly. He's also very attentive and personable. I am very pleased and blessed to have him as my dentist. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Special thanks to Lucy, the Dental Hygienist that treated me so well, and did such an excellent job; She was thorough, meticulous (spent time doing the cleaning), with precision and with a smile; she was reassuring and understanding, very professional. The best experience that I had in many years.

Dr Deems has been my dentist for a number of years. I have always been happy with Dr. Seems and with Lucy my dental hygienist. I went today for my first dental visit since the pandemic started. I was very impressed with the care they took to ensure my safety AND their safety. If they keep themselves at the same level of cleanliness and professionalIsm with regards to the coronavirus with every patient then you can safely see them because they are doing everything the right way!

Update: I got my cleaning and first procedure, still the best experience that I’ve had at the dentist! The hygienist cleaning my teeth was gentle and thoughtful (i. e. applying chapstick and glasses to keep me comfortable) and very nice.
My procedure went well, not comfortable per se but no pain, but the great thing was no pain or sensitivity after and a perfect bite. I go back for more work in a few weeks and I can do so with no anxiety, Dr. Deems and his colleagues are great at what they do!
Dr Deems spent 2 hours with me at my initial consultation. He and his staff were fantastic. I have had some bad experiences with dentists and had some anxiety around my visit. Everyone at Cantrell West Dental made me feel comfortable and confident in their care. I go back soon for my cleaning and first procedure, I will rate them again post visit. SOOOO impressed and grateful thus far!!!

Update: Had a second appointment for a “new patient” exam, X-rays and pictures. Dr. Deems sat with me first to discuss my goals moving forward and asked if I had any questions. Made it clear there was no poking for this visit just the exam and we sat and discussed everything after. He walked me through the pictures and we discussed options. I’ve never been so comfortable in a dentist office. I generally have severe anxiety before even stepping foot in the office. Dr. Deems, Donna and Brooke have all been amazing and I’m excited to move forward with the next steps.

Great experience! I have pretty high expectations when it comes to dental offices and this place did not disappoint. All of the office staff is warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental. I never felt rushed, which is important to me. Dr. Deems took the time to talk with me prior to my first cleaning and then again after imaging was taken to discuss his findings and my oral health routines. Lucy the hygienist was very friendly and thorough with my cleaning and gave me great advice to keep my teeth and gums healthy. I will recommend this place to anyone who needs a new dental office.
