I've been having bad pain in my jaw which, lately, has increased. I was going to see my regular PCP, however, I felt it had to do with my teeth.
The Front Desk/Office searched for an immediate opening to get me in, knowing what I was describing may involve two or more dental experts including a bone surgeon.
So, to start, I saw my dentist, Dr. Curtis "Curt" Benson here, at Springs Modern, on the day that worked best for ME! He checked my jaw and had me do an actual full 3D-360° pic of the lower half of my head, jaw included. 😳 What a freaky view THAT was! But it showed, in DETAIL, what was going on "in my head!"
I have severe arthritis in all my "major" joints. All major joints are missing the very important disc/pad in between the bones. I have had, and continue to have, surgeries on every major joint (just had spinal fusion, too). Well, I found out that the jaw contains joints with discs as well! Never crossed my mind.
Guess what? That's riiiiiight! The joint on the right side of my jaw is worn down to a sort of small looking "tear drop" shape, whereas the left side jaw-joint is very normal looking (and larger due to it NOT wearing down...to a nub!).
Extremely interesting to see 👀 the type of xray of your head/jaw that can be turned around, upside down, zoomed in, flipped from side to side, etc.!
There.....was.....no.....question as to what the problem was and WHY it happened. I have a very crooked jaw (giving me a crooked smile) which put pressure (and had a constant pull) on the right side of my jaw. It was just a matter of time before the jaw damaged itself.
The Front Desk/Office set me up right away with a doctor well experienced in this sort of thing, including TMJ.
What can one say but "BRAVO" to the entire Springs Modern Dentistry for their friendliness, professionalism, expertise, and care every......step.......along......the way!

After calling several local dentists to check pricing and availability for a cleaning I thought I would give the springs modern a try.
Excellent customer service.
Quick appointment times with reasonable pricing.
Upon arrival it is very clean. Professional staff that are friendly and helpful.
They made sure I was comfortable and aware each step of the way. I had an additional need that was not in regular cleaning. It was no problem at all. Services delivered with a smile. When getting ready to pay I was expecting to be charged for the additional services but was not. They assured me that if they were to ever charge a fee it would be discussed ahead of time.
My new dentist from today forward.

They are a great facility! I would highly recommend them. They have the same hygienists instead of constantly getting new ones, and the hygienist that cleaned my teeth was great. She was very gentle. Dr. Benson, the dentist I saw, was excellent as well. He was very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. I will definitely go back!

I have seen Dr. Benson and he is very thorough and I am especially happy with my hygienist Sharona. My wife sees Dr. LaMadrid and has had a lot of dental work recently. The Springs Modern Dentistry has the NICEST staff. They are all extremely professional and knowledgeable. From the moment I walked in the office, I was taken care of. All of their equipment is modern and brand new. Dr. La Madrid is the coolest dentist I've met. He is really good at explaining the procedures in terms that patients can understand and he makes you feel at ease while he is working on your teeth. I've only had 2 visits and they've already been 2 of the best dental experiences I've ever had. Dr. Avant walked me through each step of my exam and was extremely thorough and informative. After determining I needed to come back for a deep cleaning (and I was nervous!) I got to meet the hygienist, Sharona, who not only eased my nerves, but I didn't feel a thing! And Dave, the office manager, made me feel welcome and was smiling and friendly from start to finish. I'd give the whole office 10 stars if I could.
