love the friendly, clean, and welcoming environment. the dentists and their assistants are attentive and kind. the front desk is well organized and the workers are all very sweet. completely took away all my fears of going to the dentist and now i actually enjoy going to my appointments. huge thank you to maddy for being so gentle during all my cleanings. would 100% recommend this place to anyone!

Hawaii Family Dental in Ewa is so much friendlier and cleaner than Restaurant Row and Pearl City. The Doctors and hygienist are far more knowledgeable. They take their time and they’re very thorough.

My hygienist is wonderfully kind and knowledgeable. She shares information that is relevant ind interesting.

My experience at Hawaii Family Dental Clinic, Ewa Beach, has been very good. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. I had cleaning done on 6/30/22, and the Hygienist (sorry did not get her name) was very personable, and I felt at ease with her right away. She did a wonderful job!! All Dr. Eng's associates/assistants too!!!

From day one of Family Dental's grand opening in Ewa, all members of my family have gone - for 5+ years they were our designated dentist office. We had no problems or complaints at all, especially when Dr. Schuler was there. But the last 12+ months have been completely ridiculous, we've struggled to book any kind of appointments unless it was 3-4 months out.

My son has braces that need to be taken care of and checked on by a professional, he's been in pain for about two weeks, but we couldn't book anything for his entire summer break no matter how much notice we gave or how flexible we were willing to be. This is ridiculous, after many tries, we finally secured an appointment for 8/23 for orthodontist doctor Shin - who only shows up Tuesdays in Ewa office (plus he works only until mid afternoon, so cannot visit after school hours). After a 20min phone battle, explaining how much pain my son has been in, they finally agreed to push my son's appointment to 8/2.

When we showed up, we explained to doctor Shin how hard it was to get an appointment booked with him even though my son has been in pain. You know what this guy said? He blamed me for not bringing my son in earlier as if he didn't listen to anything we said? I couldn't believe it. The way doctor Shin handled customer's concern like this wasn't just right, not professional way. He attacked me. Why?????

I think this office is falling apart and probably not good place to bring my family, or any families, anymore. This is not how you take care of our keiki or people in general who trust in your services to help us when we need it. Never going back.

I absolutely love this dental Office. The whole office is clean and nice. The Staff is amazing so nice and helpful. My son loves it there as well he is only 3 and loves to go to the dentist. He is always treated so great there. The staff interacts with him and give him attention even when I am there for myself. I can honestly say you will not be disappointed with this office and staff. This office is the second dental office I have ever felt safe and cared for but the only one I have ever been to on Island. I wouldn't change it for anything. If you are looking for a staff that cares for you and shows they do this is the office for you.

I love Hawaii family dental. The staff is very caring and kind. Dr Eng is the most friendliest dentist I've ever worked with and he really takes time to get to know you. His work is great and tries to make you feel comfortable throughout the process. Every time I'm there, I feel welcomed and that's a big deal. Thank you Hawaii family dental Ewa! I enjoyed meeting Mariam the new hygienist. She did a great job cleaning my teeth and I want her for the next cleaning appt.

Hawaii Family Dental is a great place to have any dental work done. Very considerate and professional Dentist. Made me feel very comfortable, asked lots of questions and was able to get treatment in a very timely manner. Would definitely return. I would say, the Best Dentist!
