I have had dental problems all my life.... and have switched from dentist to dentist! I felt like Dr Higham was cautious and optimistic, and didn’t feel like I needed to fix everything immediately! He actually gave me some good hopeful news! He is kind and actually cares about your smile and teeth! Also, his office staff was amazing and walked me through everything! Definitely going to be my dentist!!!!

My family and I are fairly new to Pocatello. I had no idea what dentist to pick. So many to choose from in such a small town. I am extremely grateful I chose Portneuf Family Dentistry. I have extreme anxiety with the dentist, but they made me feel comfortable. The dentist and staff were great. Portneuf Family Dentist got me in right away and fixed my tooth that day. Not only are they friendly and caring, but they also work with you on payment plans.

Wow! I got an implant from this dental group. It went so much better than the ones I had done in an oral surgeon’s office. So far the bone graft and implant itself have been much less invasive and without sedation, I went about my normal activities almost immediately. The cost was less, too.

Today was my first day visiting Portneuf Valley Dental. Lisa was my hygienist and did a very good job. She was very respectful and dealt professionally with me especially in view of the whole COVID thing. She was efficient and very down to earth. Dr. Hiam was super nice and down to earth as well. I felt very comfortable. I could hear him in with other patients as well, he seems easy going and personable. I used to go to Dr. McHugh, sad he retiring. I will keep going back though.

Dr. McHugh is fast, thorough and competent. His staff is friendly and welcoming. He is willing to try alternative methods instead of jumping immediately to a crown if possible, but is honest in his assessment and will do the appropriate treatment. I highly recommend him.
