Highly recommend Dental Design. I have been going there for years. Extremely Professional. The office is now set up with all the safety measures necessary for the Covid experience.

I highly recommend dental designs. They work with your budget if you don't have insurance. I got a great payment plan and I'm smiling brightly. Great staff and great dentist's.

Recently, I needed emergency dentalcare for a very painful cracked tooth. Dental Design fit me into their schedule - same day - and I was a new patient.
Dr Garfield and Dr Gelman are excellent dentists. As an RN I'm discerning and they are very skilled, confident and kind.
The staff are welcoming and the office in general is pretty, veryclean, and has a good atmosphere. So glad I'm part of it now!

I booked an emergency dental appointment with them through Emergency Dental Services. I showed up 15 minutes prior to my scheduled time and called to see if I should come in to start filling out paperwork. Imagine my surprise when I was told that they didn't have me on the schedule and couldn't fit me in. So here I am sitting in my car with a half my tooth in a ziploc baggie and no dentist appointment. They wasted precious time as I could have had an appointment with another dentist.

Edit: I have updated my initial 1 star review to a 3 star review based on the following: Dr. Gelman and the co-owner of EDS have called me personally to apologize. Evidently Dental Design's contract with EDS does not allow them to actually schedule patients and requires that Dental Design confirm emergency appointments. I greatly appreciate Dr. Gelman and EDS attempting to rectify the situation with me but I still don't feel I can give them 5 star review due to the fact that from my perspective my appointment was booked and confirmed and should have been honored. Had I known in advance that Dental Design would not guarantee my appointment I would have continued looking for another dentist and probably could have been treated more promptly instead of having to wait another day.

Came in there on a Sunday from Kenosha for an emergency visit. I called at 9am and was able to get in as soon as I got there around 10am. From checking in to the end the staff was amazing. Dr. Gelman was absolutely amazing. The two woman who worked with him, Corrie and I did not get the other woman's name were amazing as well, infact they both held my hand! I've had a lot of bad experience with dentists so I was scared and crying. I felt like a fool but they assured me I wasn't. I had a root canal that went bad and had to get it extracted and had a bad infection. Dr. Gelman was amazing with the numbing and came back multiple times to make sure I was numb and comfortable. He walked me through the entire process from what I would hear, feel, and what he was doing. I can't say how thankful I am for this team.

From November 23-24th: Can I please take a moment to just GUSH about this place!! I was having some tooth pain for about a week (broken molar) and was doing ok on pain meds until Saturday. Please understand that I have horrible dental anxiety and fear and that going to the dentist and having dental work done is one of my worst fears - it drives me to tears and full panic attacks. Anyways, somewhere around 9pm on Saturday night, I started to experience the worst pain of my adult life - it locked up my jaw and I had intense 11/10 pain radiating up my face, through my skull, and even down into my arm. It was unbearable and nothing could be done - ER said they “don’t do anything for tooth pain” so I had to wait until my dentist. You’re kidding me right?! My husband, bless him, used an online service and by a miracle we found an appointment with Dr. Gelman at 9:00am the next morning (Sunday). I couldn’t believe it!! I spent the night in a daze just trying to make it to morning.

Bright and early, we head out to the office for our appointment and while we are on the road, we get a phone call from the receptionist saying that they got a request overnight I needed to schedule an appointment. I was very confused as we had received a confirmation text AND email for our appointment already. She was so sweet and said to just head on in and they would work it out. Turns out, the online service was brand new and they did NOT in fact have an opening that morning but these angels didn’t hesitate. They worked me into the schedule between other patients, as a new client, at 9:00am on a Sunday, and were so patient with me as I literally sat there with tears streaming down my face trying to stay calm. The nurses were amazing and Dr. Gelman kept APOLOGIZING TO ME because I was waiting. I was in awe of these people!! I didn’t have an appointment and yet they were apologizing to me for not being quick enough - like, wow!! Xrays, etc, yeah the tooth has to be pulled and I go full panic mode. I knew this was coming but until hearing those words while you’re laying back in the dental chair it doesn’t sink it. I can’t help it. The tears won’t stop. I’m trying to keep it together and I have told them repeatedly to ignore the tears because I can’t control it, but I’m fine and will be brave. The nurse Carrie literally sat down with me and started to talk to me about her family, her daughter, Arizona… YOU NAME IT. She kept me as calm as possible as we waited for the injections to numb me down and the doctor to finish up and come in. Then, in a matter of less than 5 minutes, they had me numb, tooth pulled, and ready to go with an aromatherapy scented warm towel. Un-freaking-believable!!

I went back a week later for my follow up and exam and think I have FINALLY found a dentist I can trust enough to help me work through my dental issues once and for all. THANK YOU DR. GELMAN and THANK YOU CARRIE!!! I am looking forward to coming in after the New Year to start to make my smile healthy again!!

Dread going to the dentist no longer! I love Dr. Garfield's office. Everyone is friendly, personable and they treat you like family! I don't love that I have a different hygienist every time I go for a cleaning, but that's something I can easily get over.

Believe it or not but it was a pleasant visit to a DENTIST. Wonderful and very nice, friendly staff and doctors, they did everything possible to make sure that I will not fill that I am in the dental chair.

Everyone from the front desk to Dr. Asher Gelman was professional, helpful and very calming. At every stage, Dr. Gelman explained what to expect, what he was doing and why. He's not only technically skilled, he has a great "bedside manner". Very happy with my visit. Highly recommended.

Incredible. Lost a tooth on Saturday and was able to get in on Sunday morning for a replacement. Professional. Friendly. Helpful. And Dr Gelman and staff were great. I’m changing dentists going forward to this office. Highly recommend.
