Aspen Dental

First off, the team was super friendly and my kind of people, definitely made the experience a lot more fun. My favorite person by far was the lady with the tattoo on her chest, I was to nervous about even being at the dentist, I didn’t catch your name. But you were awesome!!

The staff at Aspen Dental were all very sincere and offered their knowledge openly. The facility is clean and welcoming- be sure to say hello to Flossy! The free x-rays and consultation for new patients is a nice benefit as it is great way to summarize your oral health. They squeezed my cleaning in that day. It had been years since I had last seen a dentist, and I was a bit ashamed. The folks at Aspen Dental made me feel relieved. They were genuinely happy to see me and help me get back on track with my oral health. Great experience!

All staff was very polite and informative. The dentist took as much time as I needed to give options and step by step procedures that needed to be done. I allowed me the opportunity to ask detailed questions regarding dental procedures and I am the one who decided the best course of action needed. The accounting personnel was very helpful (I do not have dental insurance as I am a senior). We telephoned the 3rd party lender and received instant approval for amount needed. I will definitely refer this Aspen dental Office to my friends.

Had my initial appointment to have xrays and a consultation done for my wisdom teeth, no cleaning or anything. The front desk staff and xray tech were very nice and helpful. It took over 30 minutes for someone to get me to complete my xray then the dentist wasn't ready yet so I had to wait another 15 minutes in the lobby before getting back to see that actual dentist. The dentist looked at my teeth gave me a laundry list of things that need done and had me go back out into the waiting room so I could have a meeting with the office manager to discuss the cost of the procedures. My main concern is my wisdom teeth as they have become quite painful. The office manager gave me a quote with no information on it beside cost of 'procedure', how much insurance would pay and my out of pocket cost. The cost of procedure included all of the dentist list of work that needed to be done. I asked what the actual cost of just the wisdom teeth extraction would cost she said I would have to drive to Waterloo or Iowa City to actually have the procedure done and after insurance I would need to pay $1500 up front....for removal of 4 wisdom teeth!!! I emailed the office manager a few days later asking for a break down of the procedure so I knew what exactly I was paying $1500 out of pocket for as everyone I talked to who has the same insurance as me told me that was way high compared to what they paid and the office manager said give her until the end of business day the following day to ensure all the information was correct, two days later no response. I kindly emailed her back asking if she had a chance to review the information yet and still a month later have not received a response. Very disappointing.

I hadn't been to the dentist in years. They made my experience pleasant. Very professional and service was quick.

I was traumatized at a dental office when I was child to needless to say, I pretty much avoided the dentist at all cost! When my crown fell off one day, I panicked and had no clue what to do since I hadn't been to a dentist in years (too ashamed to say how many years). I called Aspen (a few of my co-workers had a good experience with them) and they were able to fit me in that day to put a temporary crown on. They were so nice and didn't judge. When they did my exam, they found a few other problems so they sent me to talk with the office manager to go over my options and costs. She was very patient with me as I asked probably way too many questions and made me feel at ease with the whole process. Since the majority of people work during the day, I especially like that the office is open one night a week till 8pm so I don't have to take time off of work to go to my appointments. Overall, I would recommend Aspen dental to anyone who is afraid of the dentist because they take the fear away.

I had a wonderful experience very kind and friendly, my top dentures broke and they fixed them in a hour. I'm very pleased with there service thanks again.

I would like to thank everyone involved in the care I received. Deciding to go with a full dentures was a big decision and your staff was very caring about that decision. Other than the normal tenderness and swelling associated with extractions, everything has gone rather smoothly. I would recommend going to Aspen Dental to anyone. Now I have a wonderful smile. Dr. George and his staff were amazing. I hate the dentist and had to have a tooth extracted today after finding out it was infected yesterday. Liza has a great personality and is very chipper, Dr George was very patient and make sure I was completely numb and comfortable before he started to work on the tooth and within minutes it was out and no discomfort with it besides the normal pressure. I have lots of work that needs done and I will be returning to that office in the near future!

I had great experiences during previous appointments with a tech who is no longer there, Mackenzie. I arrived 30 minutes early for an appointment today. I had scheduled the appointment via phone on Tuesday. 30 minutes was excessive, so I knew I'd have to wait a bit. I wrote my name on the list and spoke with reception so I had no indication that anything was amiss or that I was in fact *not* checked in. 20 minutes later, they call me up, not to go back for the routine cleaning I anticipated, but to verify spelling of my name, my appointment type, and appointment time. I waited 20 minutes to be told I wasn't on the schedule and there was nothing they could do. Very unprofessional and incredible frustrating.
