I came here (Tremont St. location) after a botched experience with my local dentist. The difference could not be more stark. Dr. Aziz took her time with me to explain what she found and what my options were (pretty standard it would seem, but it’s something I did not get at my prior dentist). Dr. Aziz was kind, patient and a true knowledgeable professional. My visit was followed by another appointment for a root canal (my very first one) and my experience was the same. From the reception area to the hygienist to the doctor everyone worked together like a well oiled machine. The doctor also took her time to explain everything to me and then followed up with my options. Terrific experience. I appreciate great service even when they were busy. And even when all this is just daily routine for them, they understand that it is brand new and potentially scary for the patients. It is clear they put the patient at the forefront of care. Thank you to everyone at the 131 Tremont St. office.

I had a great experiences with my visits at Gentle Dental Boston. Dr.Sarah Shafik was very professional and compassionate through my visits. Her and her Dental assistant gave me a wonderful care through my deep cleaning processes.
Dr. Shafik has changed my fears for visiting Dental office. She made the process with great care and comfortable for me. I am also very grateful she responded my email questions within 2 hours by phone calls. Dr. Shafik truly cares about her patients and wants to give her patients the best cares as possible. As a health professional myself truly appreciate her compassion and professionalism.

I have been a patient of Gentle Dental for 3 years now at this location. I personally have hated the dentist since I was little due to painful cleanings. But today, I had the most wonderful experience. Despite the conditions due to covid I was hesitant to see a dentist. So I scheduled a cleaning recently and received a confirmation call and text with availability to come for an earlier appt. When I arrived the facility was clean with hand sanitizers. I was greeted on time with a black female dental hygienist (this is important for me) who was very thorough and was mindful of changing her gloves and cleanliness. When she started my cleaning, there was smooth jazz playing in the background so I didn’t pay attention to the noise in my mouth. At the end of my cleaning she introduced me to Dr. Saadia Aziz who did the final review. She was kind, professional, shared some helpful tips and oh yeah by the way she is a Black Woman. Let’s just say I left here with a bright smile and now a loyal patient of Dr. Aziz! Thank you Gentle Dental! I will be back.

I had been afraid of going to the dentist, until I started going to Newbury Dental. The staff there totally changed my attitude with their kind, helpful, professional, knowledgeable ways. Not only are they wonderful dentists, they are really nice people. After one procedure my dentist called to check on me! I enthusiastically recommend them to all.

My experience with Dr. Saadia Aziz was the most pleasant and reassuring dental experience I have ever had. I am usually very anxious about coming to the dentist, especially in light of COVID. However, I was I pleasantly surprised. Dr. Aziz helped me feel so safe and calm. I was not fully aware how important my doctor having a warm and gentle nature was for my decreased anxiety, until now. She needs to teach a class on how to improve the bedside manner of medical professionals. She listened, she was patient and didn’t rush me, she kept me aware through every step of the way and tended to me as if I actually mattered. Thank you.

Newbury Dental Associates was SO incredibly welcoming, clean, and knowledgable. The staff at the front desk are always happy to help and answer questions. My hygienist was gentle and thorough, and my dentist, Dr. He, took his time evaluating and doing work on my teeth. He explained everything he was doing in addition to answering any questions i had happily and thoroughly. As a whole, the office is also extremely good with COVID precautions and made me feel safe in the office. I would highly recommend Newbury Dental Associates to anyone, especially Dr. He!

My visit for my teeth cleaning and a whitening was amazing today. Walked in the office and was greeted by Sibylle. From first walking in, she took my temp, gave me hand sanitizer, and advised me where to sit based on social distancing guidelines. She was super polite and friendly and made me feel super safe and comfortable in a time where you can never be too sure. The hygienist Nikie was a delight to work with. She made me feel so safe and calm and she did such a great job on my teeth. She was extremely professional and punctual which is what I like! I’ll definitely be back!

Dr Aziz is the best. After breaking a tooth I was dreading a visit to a new dentist. She was so kind and gentle and immediately put me at ease. She was professional, efficient, and reassuring. My new crown looks perfect. I am thrilled to have found Dr Aziz. I highly recommend her and this office.

I went in for a routine cleaning and follow up. Gentle Dental take Covid-19 Precautions very seriously as there is a pre-screening, mask requirements, temperature check, and readily available hand saniizer, which is highly reassuring during this ongoing pandemic. Dr. Aziz was highly professional and personable and made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. Highly recommend this establishment for your dental care needs.

Had a terrible experience with Denise. I had an appointment card and showed up for my appointment, normally. Denise said she just didn't have me on my schedule and she just wanted to get rid of me, period. That's not what you do in these type of situation. You don't tell the patient "Well we don't have on schedule, that's it". So I asked to talk to someone else in the office and at that point she lost it. She falsely claimed to be the ONLY person in the entire office I could talk to and she also falsely claim to be the ASSISTANT MANAGER instead I found out she is just a patient coordinator. Why LIE? For what reason? She just really didn't want me to express my concerns and complained about her and she even call someone to REMOVE ME from the office. Who does that? So I asked her if she called the police to remove me and she said "no". So I asked her who did you call to remove me? And she said "I don't have to tell you that". So she was just beyond horrible and a liar and I don't stand for that kind of treatment. I already paid in advance for my treatment and showed for my appointment and all you can say and do is that I can't complaint to anyone and I need to leave? REALLY? The hygienist had to step in and handle the situation. Why the hygienist has to do the patient coordinator job and squeeze me in for the day? So the poor hygienist didn't have nearly enough time to do a good job. I still have piece of tartar and plaque. The procedure lasted 10 minutes at best while I waited hours. Definitely need a re-do and a refund. Gentle Dental is the equal of fast food of dental practices. Don't do it to your teeth. They didn't even take pictures to have a better idea of my underlining issues. They just get you through fast and get you out and that's it. Again, treat your teeth better. Go somewhere else.
