I had a wonderful experience with the staff at Leominster. I was there on vacation and had a mild dental emergency. They got me in right away and fixed me right up!!! I did not have cell service where I was staying so much of our correspondence was through email, which was very accommodating. The dentist was super nice and talked me through everything he was doing, making sure I was constantly comfortable. 10 out of 10!

My 4 year old daughter had her teeth cleaned with Brigitte yesterday, She was amazing with my daughter. She has a incredible talent with children, she had so much patience. I would recommend her to anyone, especially with a child who is hesitant to go to the dentist. The office is friendly and clean. Highly recommended

Always a great experience with LFD. I have been a patient for many years. The staff there are kind and compassionate to the extreme. The dentists there give sound and reasonable advice and do excellent work. I have had old fillings replaced and crown work done at LFD. They have even told me when I DIDN'T need to have work done! Great practice, great people. Highly recommend!!

I don't usually post bad reviews but when I come across unprofessional and bad customer service, well... I just have to do it.
I've been going to the Leominster Family Dentists for over a year now and I have to say that Dr. Carlozzi and the hygienists are efficient and have always done a great job. I have no complaints about them.
My complaint is about the frontdesk/billing-department which has been a nightmare since the very beginning.
It's been a painful process dealing with the frontdesk/billing. The only thing that kept me going was the quality of service provided
by Dr. Carlozzi and the hygienists.

ISSUE 1
When I found this office, I presented them with all my insurance details and they assured me that I should be covered.
After I had my first service, I received a bill from them saying I have to pay the full amount.
Well, I confronted them and they admitted that it was their mistake and decided to write off that amount.
Ok, all good. At least they fixed the problem.

ISSUE 2
After the first incident, I made my due diligence to upgrade my insurance and I double checked with them that the office
was part of the network.
Then I go for my 2nd visit and suddenly I receive another bill. I called them I asked why they are sending me the bill.
They said the insurance didn't cover it (unbelievable). I called the insurance and they told me that they didn't cover the visit because the FRONTDESK/BILLING department DDN'T SUBMIT MY SRP HISTORY.
I called the front desk/billing to confront them and they finally admitted that it was a clerical error and they forgot to submit my SRP history along with the bill. (hope you are all having fun while reading this :-))
This triggered a long (I meant it, a very long) period of back and forth between my insurance and the frontdesk/billing.
The insurance kept saying that they are not submitting the SRP history correctly and the frontdesk/billing kept saying that they will "resubmit" (seems they couldn't get it right). Seriously, they all seemed to be smart folks so not sure why they were having such a hard time to take care of a simple thing. Makes you wonder...
Anyway, after a long period of unnecessary stress, they finally got it sorted out and the insurance paid off all past bills.
So clearly I didn't owe them anything, but somehow I was receiving bills from them even though they were supposedly working on a way to fix the issue.

ISSUE 3
After my last visit, suddenly I receive a letter from a collection service, saying that I owe $222 to the Leominster Family Dentists.
I just couldn't believe it!! They didn't event try to bill me, They just sent me straight to the collection.
I think calling them unprofessional and incompetent is a compliment. What would you call an office that sends you to collection without even trying to bill you or contact you to settle the matter? I can't find the right word so I will just settle for incompetent and unprofessional.
This is a joke! I've never come across something like this.

So, it's time to move on. Definitely not going back to Leominster Family Dentists. Their frontdesk/billing service just scares me.
But again, Dr. Carlozzi and the hygienists were always great so it saddens me that I have to stop using their services because of the frontdesk/billing department.
I hope you all have a better experience than I did.

Everyone was extremely nice and patient with me. I wasn't a patient with them but had an emergency and they fit me in right away. I have terrible anxiety and they made me feel a lot more at ease than I would have thought possible. I don't have dental insurance so they made sure to keep that in mind and didn't charge me excessively for the visit, eventhough I was able to speak with the dentist. Dr. Carlozzi (I may have spelled that wrong) took the time to explain exactly what was causing my pain and gave me a referral to CMOS. He stayed long enough to answer all my questions. The front desk lady who made my appointment actually remembered me and how afraid I was, and followed up with me the day of to see how it went, which was surprising to me because I'm not a regular patient. Definitely recommend.

Start by saying I do not like the dentist most times, however this practice has changed the way I feel about dentist visits. I felt welcomed and all of my concerns were addressed. I highly recommend for all your dental needs.
