I really enjoyed my treatment at Rochester Denistry. I was treated very professionally, The staff is very courteous and , friendly. Dr Doolin treated me quite well, and made up a nice denture for me. He made sure it was correct, prior to final denture being made. I would refer them to anyone who has similar issues as I had, with no problem.
Sincerely,

Dr Haddad and his staff are one of the best dentistry’s in Michigan. I had horrible TMJ, difficulties opening my mouth, could not chew food because of the pain, inflamed muscles in the jaw and constant clicking in my jaw. All of the symptoms started in December 2020 and after consulting with my old dentist with no knowledge to help the suffering of two months misery I decided to do some research. I found Rochester Advanced Dentistry specializes in this area and immediately called them to schedule an appointment. After my first treatment and with my orthotic piece in I was back in action with all my symptoms subsiding. After seeking treatment for my TMJ, my partner and I have switched to Rochester Advanced Dentistry for routine preventive care services.

I had such a positive experience here. I have had TMJ issues for the last 3 years and went to a specialist for the first 2 years that gave me no change and no hope. He repeatedly told me that surgery would be my only option and even that may not work. The people here were a total 180. They gave me hope and told me it was possible to be pain free without surgery. They explained every part of the process before and during treatment. Rachel was a delight and super helpful and Dr. Haddad was absolutely amazing. He is thorough and really spends the time with you to make sure that everything is right. I am leaving here feeling so much better.

I have been suffering with ear ringing, clicking and popping of my ears and I had no idea what was going on with me. I visited the ear doctor and did all the tests and they said everything was perfect. But I was not getting any better and finally I was advised to check with a dentist if there is anything wrong with my teeth or jaw(TMJ). Then after some research I found Dr Haddad ‘Rochester Advanced Dentistry’ and immediately booked an appointment with them and I came for my first visit. Cristina did some tests as per symptoms and found that my bit was not good and I had TMJ. So then I decided to start my treatment with Dr Haddad and Rachel. In my first appointment they were so thorough and they use some wonderful technology and take measurements for orthotic. It’s been two weeks since I am wearing my orthotic. My bit is a little changed and ringing in my ears is kinda reduced but ofcourse not completely. But any treatment is going to take some time and I am confident of feeling better soon. I would highly recommend Dr Haddad and team if you are having any teeth or jaw problem.

The entire staff is amazing. You are treated like family from the minute you walk in the door. The doctors and hygienists have been great with my kids since they were toddlers. From cleanings to cosmetic dentistry to implants, I cannot recommend Rochester Advanced Dentistry enough! It’s always a pleasant experience.

It is very unfortunate that I have to leave a negative review about this office due to their behavior. I have been seeing Dr Haddad for quite some time now and he, along with his staff, know that I am a dedicated patient. I have gone to him for many issues such as TMJ and tongue tie because I feel that I can trust him.

However, each time it is like pulling teeth with the office staff. The most recent behavior has left me incredibly upset due to the unprofessional nature. And this is considering one of the many unpleasant encounters I've had now.

I just finished my orthodontic treatment and I am currently at the stage where I need to get a sleep appliance to manage my TMJ symptoms and pain. Instead of talking to me respectfully to make me feel that I was understood, the staff rudely told me they would have the doctors speak to one another and get back to me. Even after this situation, I continued to be patient with them.

They eventually called me back and said that the doctors have spoken and in order to set an appointment I have to first put down the payment of thousands of dollars for the appliance.

There are many issues with this. I told them I would like to speak with Dr. Haddad and get a consultation before moving forward so I can address my concerns and ask him some questions regarding another route he had mentioned with sleep apnea testing - basically, as a patient who is about to pay thousands of dollars, I want to be confident that this is what I want to do and this would be the best option like you would expect in any other medical procedure. I do not find that there is anything wrong with a patient wanting to know what is about to happen and what to expect before paying for an entire procedure.

They denied my request and said I have to pay the amount before even meeting or talking to the doctor. Even then I remained patient.

I then requested that they provide me with medical/dental codes so I can at least do my part and due diligence of talking to the insurance and finding out if my insurance would help me, even slightly. They gave me a code that the insurance said was not accurate because the code description did not match what the staff said the doctor would be doing. The insurance called them, while I was on the line, and Rita, from Dr. Haddad's office was speaking to the insurance people. The manner in which she spoke was not acceptable. She was not letting neither me, nor the insurance people explain what the issue was, and instead of trying to find a solution,, kept saying we don't bill insurance and I had already told you we don't know about the exact codes and they may have changed. Well, okay then.

So I asked Rita who knows in her office about the exact procedure and the codes. Trying to attempt to explain to her and come up with a solution, I suggested maybe the doctor or nurse, Rachel, may know. I also told Rita that during my previous treatment, I was provided with a list of codes as well, so maybe she can find out how they pulled those codes. She told me she would figure it out and call me back. Now it has been approximately 3 weeks (3 weeks!) and no call back or any updates. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful.

It just amazes me how a doctors office can treat a loyal patient in such a negative way and the staff's behavior has become completely unacceptable. I've always encountered this behavior but always chose to look past it and be the bigger person. However, now it has come to the point that I must say something since they are deliberately and continuously treating a patient this way.

There is much more that I experienced throughout the time I've seen them but always chose to give them excuses, but now, overall, I am extremely disappointed in the entire situation.

I have to say everything about my experience at Rochester Advanced Dentistry has been outstanding. I had my braces put on today and it really was a great experience. I can not say enough about Rachel. She is kind, compassionate and can empathize with what i'm going through as she has also had some of the same procedures and braces. Dr. Haddad is great; when i have an appointment it's like seeing family. The front desk staff is amazing and easy to work with.
