I’m new to Helena and was looking for an office that accepted Cigna. So happy that I gave them a call! I left them a voicemail (they must have been busy) and to my surprise they returned my call within a couple hours to inform me that they could get me in the next day due to a cancellation made by a patient. All the staff was very friendly and professional. I would recommend Nielsen Dental to anyone!

The female dentist there was terrible! She not only brushed off the pain I was having, she scoffed at me for bringing it up. She said she would give me a referral to an oral surgeon. I found out later it's something they could do in house and doing it there would fix the problem much faster. Then I found out the referral was never sent out! A few days after my first appointment the hygienist noticed I was in pain and set me up for an appointment to fix the problem the next day. Other than the one dentist, everyone was really friendly and professional. At least someone noticed I was hurting

I am a father and husband with three girls still at home. My wife and I started going here many years ago due to insurance coverage, (these guys accept everything I think). It has truly been a fantastic experience, yes, a dentist, FANTASTIC! My children love Dr. Fife so much they would ask to go back, they would draw him pictures, bring gifts, incredible. I have always had difficulty with my teeth, yet both Dr. Fife and Dr. Nielsen have given me exceptional care. My wife feels very comfortable. When times got tough for us, they politely helped us make payment arrangements and still took care of my family. From the front desk to the exam rooms, you will find no one better.
This post was originally created 3 years ago. The only change that I can see is they have improved! Can you believe it? A dentist office that was the best I have ever visited in my life, almost 60 years, has gotten better. Dr. Fife is as passionate and thoughtful and caring as he was when I first met him. The entire staff takes its lead from the top. Although it would be hard to tell who is in charge, why? Because each employee treats the others with such absolute thoughtfulness. Always caring with the patient and each other. Always polite with the patient and each other. When the staff treat each other like this, you know that you will be treated great as well.

Driving 2.5 hours to see one's dentist is either a great testimony to their service or a sign of insanity. The truth - once I had moved from the Helena area, I couldn't leave the superb care of Nielsen Dental. The entire staff is beyond accommodating and caring. Dr. Nielsen and his staff are worth the drive!

There are no long waits in the waiting rooms, friendly, professional service, and very timely insurance submittions.
