I got awesome service & care at this location!

Bernadette is a Rock Star at her job – absolutely fantastic. Her attitude is outgoing, friendly and helpful. She knows her job and does it exceptionally well. She actually got on the phone with my insurance, verified my coverage and compared it with their in-house plan. Then she clearly went over my options and found the most cost-effective way for my treatment to be billed. **There were ZERO billing mishaps, surprises or ooopsies – unlike what I experienced at my last three dentists!**

I saw Dr. Ellsworth, a periodontist (gum dr.), at this location. I had a lot of pain, needed surgery and was really stressing about having work done. He was great. He got me properly numbed up (I cannot tell you how many times other dentists did not do this) was friendly and professional. He did a great job and gave easy to understand post-op care instructions. I would not hesitate to see him again for future care.

Dr. Dilan is AMAZING. He has been taking care of my teeth for fours years now. He originally did seven fillings and one extraction on me PAIN FREE. Today he did a baby filling WITH NO ANESTHESIA and with no pain. He really knows his stuff. He is fast and he is kind and polite. Sheryl, the hygienist, has been cleaning my teeth for the same amount of time. She is 100% on time and she is very fast and very efficient. I fully recommend this team.

I am a new patient at this office..I went there for a repair of a damaged crown. I found the staff very helpful and professional. They had me come in right away. Dr. "D" examined the crown and advised that it needed to be replaced. He added that the lab might take several weeks for a new crown but created a temporary crown for me on site. When I advised him that I had business in Calif. and asked if it could be expedited he contacted the lab and had the time cut in half!! These are kindly folks who have demonstrated real empathy for their patients...I recommend their services!!

Last November I developed a serious toothache and infection. I needed help, and fast! Gentle Dental was fantastic. I was able to schedule an appointment the next day. The staff was professional and caring. They took the time to understand my situation, explain my treatment options and handled all the necessary insurance paperwork.
I needed seven extractions. While the proceedure wasn't the most fun I've ever had, it was obvious my care and comfort was of formost concern for everone. I can not express adequately express my gratitude to everyone and Gentle Dental or recommend them highly enough!

I really did not have a great experience here. The equipment is old and outdated (especially the x-ray equipment), the rooms/blinds pretty dirty/dusty, the windows were facing the street so people could walk by and see me with my mouth propped open, the front desk guy was low-key rude, and the dentist had to check (probe) my gums twice for some reason (which really hurt) and caused them to bleed profusely. I went in to get a cavity filled and I left feeling shamed and pretty upset, AND my cavity was not filled because he said I needed to make a follow up appointment for any work. The next dentist I went to (less than a month later) did the same probe test and there was no blood or pain at all. She told me my gums were is great condition. I was told from Gentle Dental that I needed a deep cleaning which was going to cost $1000, and again, the second dentist I went to less than a month later said that was ridiculous and my gums were just fine. The only person there who I was happy with was the dental hygienist who was very sweet. I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone.

Today I got a deep cleaning and I was so nervous but I must say I had a very good experience my hygienist made me feel so comfortable he was very gentle and always made sure I was comfortable. The staff is very friendly I definitely recommend coming here .

Very friendly staff. Offered coffee and water and had a very calming and welcoming demeanor. Very conversational with both each other and myself. Dentist lived up to the company's name too, very gentle work. Kept apologizing for parts he thought might hurt but I could barely feel a thing and I wasn't numbed in the slightest. Highly recommended.

I moved to Reno for grad school 4 years ago and had a filling fall out. I went to Northwest Reno Smiles originally and was told that I needed a crown. I did not have any dental insurance and was quoted $800 if I purchase their in house discount plan. I found a reasonably priced insurance (NDB) and the only place that took this insurance in Reno was Gentle Dental. I was examined by Dr. Dilan and he told me that I just need a refilling which cost less than $100. That filling is still in place. I continue to come here for cleanings and check ups. Sheryl is the best hygienist in Reno IMHO. Dr. Vu is now at the Moana location and he is also an awesome dentist. I highly recommend this place.

This place is Great! They really are super gentle didn’t feel a thing just a very delicate pinch when they numb you. They let you know where their about to poke at, or tell you what your going to feel such as pressure or whatever the case ! Best dentist place I’ve been too super friendly and professional

This Gental Dental is the best. The service here is excellent and the staff as well as the doctors are very kind and informative. You will definitely have the same experience. Shelly does a wonderful job helping you with the scheduling and payment process and you always leave feeling better than when you arrived.
