I went to Dr. Pilgrim several years ago when I lived in OKC and not only did I have a terrible experience, he told me the worst thing I've ever been told by a dentist. He handed me a mirror and told me to look at my teeth and he said quote "nobody wants a kiss someone with that mouth." I'm not joking, those were the exact words and it still appalls me to this day. He also performed an unsuccessful root canal that occasionally still causes pain. My current dentist informed me that as a dentist, he should have never performed the root canal. I recently had a second root canal done by an endodontist, NOT a dentist, and I've had zero pain and zero problems. Don't trust a dentist who performs root canals themselves and definitely don't trust a dentist who insults you.
