These folks are absolutely wonderful! Dr Ben Gonzales and his team who's names I should remember so I will follow up with a second review because they all deserve the praise! They are kind, considerate, professional and very accommodating. They did a crown for me on incredibly short notice and made me feel very comfortable and at ease as I have a serious phobia of needles. Dr Gonzales did a awesome job and didn't feel a thing through the entire procedure including the shots! Thank you all so much, you all won me over to your family oriented clinic you seem to be a close knit family with a successful recipe of how to run a business from staff to the best quality of dental work too boot! I started my implant process with Dr. Burton back in March of this year and today he placed my final crowns in! I have to say that this has been nothing but a smooth process. I was very worried at the beginning because I've had implant procedures done in the past and it was not the greatest experience so I was very impressed with the dental team at HR Dental. Dr. Andy and his team of assistants (Alondra and Yasmine) made me feel very comfortable, always checked in to see how I was doing and were overall amazing. Having oral surgery is not a procedure that anyone would choose to have done so to say that the experience was great says A LOT about this team! I barley had any pain, complications or swelling. I also appreciated Dr. Andy's attention to detail when it came to making my crowns blend in with the rest of my teeth. I am so grateful for my new smile and for the team at Hood River Dental!

Had my 6 month check-up with Nancy who has been my hygienist for years. She always impresses me with her professionalism, knowledge, and caring. The front staff is always welcoming and helpful. Thank you Hood River Dental for consistently providing excellent care!

When Dr. Curtis Haynie was recommended to us 6 or 7 years ago, he was described to us as "a perfectionist ." My experience has been that this is true. Dr. Haynie is by far the best dentist who has ever provided care for me in my 67 years. I trust his judgement and skill implicitly, so much so that last month I arranged for him to do 4 crowns on the same day. With the most modern equipment, Dr. Haynie does the prep work, creates the crowns at his offices and mounts them the same day so there is no need for multiple visits. My previous experience with other providers is that some adjustment is often needed to ensure even a single crown is exactly shaped to fit with the surrounding and opposing teeth, and I thought that with 4 crowns in 3 different areas, at least some small adjustment would be needed this time. It was not. A month on, there has been no need for any adjustment of any kind - every crown was perfectly made and installed. Dr. Haynie is an artist at his craft and I consider myself extremely fortunate to be his patient. I recommend him unreservedly to anyone searching for a dental care provider.

January 24, 2019 followup. The staff at Hood River Dental was, during this visit and as always, ultimately professional and provided exceptional service. This was a semiannual cleaning and exam, so I had no actual dental work done. It was my first experience with Dr. Gonzales, who conducted the brief exam part of the visit. He seemed pleasant and professional but, since I did not need any actual dental work, I can’t yet evaluate the quality of his work. My wife and I have been long time patients of Dr. Haynie and we deeply regret losing his amazing dental services when he severed his preferred provider relationship with our insurance carrier, Blue Cross. Dr. Haynie is more than just a highly skilled dental professional; he is a perfectionist, an artist in his work. Since Dr. Gonzales will be taking over from Dr. Haney care of patients in this practice who are covered by Blue Cross, we should be able in the future to provide an evaluation of his dental work.

March 11, 2022 update - This visit was for routine cleaning only with no exam. It was, as always, handled professionally and pleasantly. I've long looked at dental cleaning as something I just have to get through because it's good for me but I actually enjoyed this visit. This is a really excellent dental practice.

Best experience at a dentist. I broke a tooth on a Friday late afternoon and wasn't able to get in anywhere. By the time Monday rolled around I was in even worse pain. I called Monday morning and everywhere was booked solid. Hood River was booked solid as well but they squeezed me in since I was in so much pain. Very nice office and front desk staff. Dr. Kevil was very nice and friendly and informative about my options. His assistant Alondra was sweet and helpful and made me feel very comfortable. They were wonderful. Highly recommend this friendly professional team. Thank you guys!

I was always afraid to go to the dentist because I had bad experiences growing up, but everyone at Hood River Dental is so friendly and make me feel so comfortable. Everyone is very professional, they're always are able to accomadate a time that works best for me. Their work is pristine!

Hygienist Chelsea was so much fun. She has a great sense of humor. Chelsea is also very knowledgeable and has a gentle touch. My whole visit was phenomenal. I have dental health goals that I am going to work to achieve with the support of the Hood River Dental team. Thanks!
