I had a dental emergency and arrived unannounced just as the office was opening. The staff was very reassuring and told me they would be able to work me in. Within a few minutes, I was taken to an exam room by a dental assistant. After she completed all her prep work, the dentist came in, made the repair, and in less than an hour I was out the door.
