New patient visit June 2022. I waited 3 weeks to get in. They did not verify my benefits before my visit and the day of my appointment their system was down. I was told I had to reschedule or pay cash and get reimbursed once my insurance paid the claim.
Since I waited so long for the appointment and I took time off work, I paid cash ($400+). It is now September and I have yet to be reimbursed. I was told 6-8 weeks. I have verified the claim was paid to them through my insurance company weeks ago.
My biggest complaint is that I have left 2 messages for a call back from the office manager and also did the online chat options (they relayed a message to the office as well). No one has returned my call.
Its too bad that I have to continue to chase down my money for something that was not my fault. I now have to either go in person or research other next steps, outside of attempting to contact the practice directly, to seek reimbursement.
