I’ve been a patient here for only two years, but I’m totally happy with Dr. Cummings and his team of professionals. Their “no-nonsense” approach to dentistry has kept my teeth cleaner and healthier than they’ve been in years.

Great service, care, and attention to detail by the staff and dentist! My first appointment here and am satisfied with the service and am happy to be a regular patient for my routine care.

BLVD is full of nice and professional people. Allie Wilson, who treated me today, did an excellent job all while making sure I was comfortable the entire time. Highly recommend!

Do not get your orthodontic work here.

I had an appointment on 10/18.
On that day, I scheduled my final appointment for 12/20.
This was the appointment I was eagerly waiting for.
It's when I would get everything off and finally be done.

I got a call today 12/13 saying there was a mistake...they shouldn't of booked me then because the orthodontist is out of town.
They had to push it back even further to 1/17 (the earliest).

The kicker- they KNEW he wouldn't be in town the beginning of November.

So for 1.5 months they had this information yet didn't let me know until a week prior.

Another kicker- the orthodontist only comes to the office 1 or 2 times out of the MONTH.
So it's not like there's a complicated schedule.

You'd think you'd get better customer care paying $3,400 out of pocket...

Edit: I came back to finish the crown procedure that was accidentally scheduled and Dr. Cummings and I had a discussion about the frustrations I had the last time, and he was kind enough to hear me out and refund me for the misunderstanding. I’m obv very pleased and grateful about this, especially because I was not expecting that and I was fully prepared to just front the cost. What a pleasant surprise, and so generous of him. Changing my review to 5 stars because it really is a great place. I’m glad that everything was cleared up. Definitely going to return, as exceptional service can be hard to come by.

Original: Truthfully I don’t know if I should give it a 3 star or 2 rating. It’s a great place, with updated equipment and tools, it’s clean, parking is free, everyone seems friendly enough and the waits are decent.

Now. I’m a pretty patient person and I’m not high maintenance. But they seem to have messed up my appointments and etc on multiple occasions (on all occasions I’ve been there), I believe all 4 times and that’s frustrating to me. I’m pretty sure I’m speaking loud enough otherwise they’d tell me to speak up.

It’s like they are just scheduling what they want anyway, despite me telling them explicitly what I wanted the next appointment. It’s frustrating. I was told that I don’t have to follow their plan in order, I can “jump around”. So that’s what I did. I scheduled for the two mercury fillings to be removed. But to my surprise, when I came there they scheduled me for something else. I was not planning or budgeting to spend the money for the crown procedure they accidentally scheduled me for that week, as I was planning to do that in two months. Now, my tooth is so sensitive and that’s not what I wanted at all at this time. But whatever. Apparently I “signed the consent forms” — yes true but the consent forms simply told me about the dangers of a list of procedures… fillings being one of them. Which I thought I was getting. Never was I told by any of them what was actually going to happen. Just, hey, sign these consent forms so we can get started. I guess I trusted my appointment would be made correctly — just the mercury fillings as discussed with the assistant my last visit. So now I spent $450 that I really was not planning to spend at the dentist at that time. I think that the break down of the procedures should be explained up front, before the consent forms. I don’t know what these dental terms are and I don’t need to. Telling me to sign a consent form for a crown and fillings isn’t out of the ordinary for me since I don’t know what goes into a removal of mercury fillings. A crown may be required. Idk.

The other time I was mischeduled. I said a specific date and they said okay, only to find out it was the wrong date, for the following month. Good thing I told the other girl at the front desk what my intended date was and she caught it.

Then, the other time, I scheduled just a regular cleaning, not gingivitis cleaning. And yet, lo and behold, when I went there, they took it upon themselves to do/schedule me for the gingivitis cleaning. Another unintended expense I did not plan for. They said “oh we just made the decision to do the gingivitis cleaning instead”. I get that it’s a deeper clean and I intended to do it, but I would just like to schedule things that I schedule and not have someone override them without bringing it up to me first because there are reasons why I schedule them the way I do. That said, great experience, I’m glad it was done ultimately.

Another thing that was disheartening - one lady was digging into my gums with the end of the larger suction and it really hurt. It was like she was resting her entire weight on it but I didn’t say anything because my mouth was numb and I couldn’t speak from the liquid in my throat. I just prayed it would stop, and eventually it did.

I’ll see how things pan out and edit my review if anything changes.

So glad I found this office! Needed a same day appointment AND it was Friday (apparently most dental offices are closed on Fridays 😱). This office was OPEN and so accommodating, helpful and friendly. Thank you BLVD dental, I will tell everyone about you!!!

Back story: a few years ago I chipped my front cap. I’ve had it filled with composite a few times from a handful of different dentists. It needs to be replaced but I’ve been putting it off for a few reasons. Needless to say, the old composite fell off.
When I called in they were very friendly and accommodating. I had to leave two days later for my cousin’s wedding and didn’t want to look like a backwoods hick for pictures. They fit me in very quickly.
The front staff is so welcoming and kind. Very easy to work with. I didn’t fill out the online paperwork since I didn’t get it, but they immediately re-sent it and I got it done pretty quick. It was processed quickly and I was sitting in a chair less than 5 minutes later, on time or maybe even a little early. No hassle, very efficient. No “processing for 20 minutes”, no “waiting room for 30 minutes”.
I was seen relatively soon. Everyone was very friendly. The exam was quick and soon we were on our way…
Dr. Cummings is a true artist. Having this done a few times, this is the first time I felt like someone either a) cared about the job they were doing or b) were competent enough to do it right. His initial sculpt was almost perfect. Of course it needed to be touched up and that went off without a hitch.
The cap feels exactly how it did when it was first put in. Seamless, correct thickness and shape. It is as perfect as it could get.
To be honest I had a little sticker shock, but it was worth every. Single. Penny. It feels and looks great.
I very much look forward to working with Dr. Cummings and his staff in the future for my general and cosmetic needs. HIGHLY recommended. The best dental experience I’ve ever had.

This was by far the best dental visit I have ever experienced. I waited for leas than 3 minutes for my appointment. They actually took me back a bit early. The dentist listened, was attentive, and provided great suggestions. I received my referral before I was even left my chair. My hygienist provided the best dental cleaning I’ve ever received. Highly professional, efficient, and overall a great experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Great, friendly staff. I had a bunch of quick x-rays to complete, a full exam, a cleaning, and then a polish. Everyone took great care of me and listened to my questions. They answered all my questions and genuinely care for my health and what is best for me and my teeth! Highly recommend and I got to watch Netflix while I waited 🙂 I left with extremely clean teeth and great advice on how to maintain my smile 😬
