I decided to try Monarch out due to my new dental insurance not covering my old dentist that I used for over 10+ years. I made a terrible decision making an appointment at this location. I got there at 1:30 for my 2:00 appointment to fill out new patient paperwork & wasn’t even seen until after 3 pm. Then I’m told I have puffy gums & gingivitis! I have never been told that & I go to the dentist twice a year for cleanings. Then they wanted to charge me over $100 to do a cleaning that is 100% covered on my dental insurance. Then they said it would be an additional 30 minutes to be seen after I paid them. No. Not getting a penny from me at this point now. When I spoke to the hygienist about my concerns, I was told she could show me the way out. I should’ve listened to others when they told me Monarch was a huge scam.

I had to get a crown replaced and a filling. Dr. Stone did a great job. I had a little trouble with the filling but I called them, they got me back in and Dr.Stone fixed the problem with no extra charge. He is young but very knowledgeable and a very professional Dentist. His assistant Morgan was so great and professional too as well as the hygienist that did my cleaning. I recommended my husband to switch to them. I like the fact that you are pretty much seen at the time they schedule you and you don’t have to wait in the lobby for long. Staff is usually pretty good too. I Really recommend this place.

I know going to the dentist can sometimes be a scary situation but as soon as you walk in it's a very welcoming environment. I went in on an emergency visit and they were able to get me in right away. The dentist and the staff were very caring and made sure I knew everything that needed to be done. I love coming here for my dental needs and can't imagine going anywhere else.

I absolutely love this place, they’re patient, kind and courteous of you and your needs. They are also transparent, and give you a sense of relief. To say that they are a franchise yet still care about the well-being of their patients speaks volumes. Dr. Patel, Mary, and the rest of the staff are perfect and nice. This is the type of dentistry you’re confident in going too. This won’t be my last visit. ❤️

They were understaffed and took FOREVER to see me (I booked appointment months in advance).
Definitely tried to take advantage of my dental insurance. I went in for a teeth cleaning and dentist said everything looked great, but hygienist said I had gum disease and they tried to make me sign to pay for a $1000+ treatment.

I went to a family owned dentist later that month, and said I had NO gum disease, and was able to get a regular teeth cleaning like normal.

My boyfriend made an appointment for a routine cleaning.
Negative Experience:
1. When he got there, at his appointment time, he waited AN HOUR to be seen and was later told the woman he spoke with the previous day did not schedule his appointment properly.
2. He was quoted for a variety of procedures that he was told would not be covered and would have to pay out of pocket for. He called me during his appointment and I had to call my insurance company to find out that some of the items could actually be covered by insurance. I essentially had to tell the front desk what could be covered and what we would need to pay out of pocket for according to what my insurance rep told me.
3. After we investigated our correct coverage options, they agreed to submit a portion of the bill to our insurance company, and that we would need to pay the items that were for sure not going to be covered. I totally understand that.
4. The itemized receipt they gave us does not add up to what they charged us AT ALL. When we called for an itemized receipt to show what exactly we paid for- we were told “we don’t do that. That’s done in San Antonio.”. They don’t know what they charged us for and cannot give us a receipt for what we paid for??
5. My boyfriend also called and asked for an itemized receipt and the front desk said they would “work on it” and get back to him later.
6. We never heard back. We have no idea what we paid for. It doesn’t seem like they do either. They wouldn’t even walk him through the items he paid for, so from that I take that it’s either some big secret, they don’t want to go to the trouble to tell us, or the number they charged was just a number that was pulled out of thin air and cannot be explained. The consumer is entitled to know what they paid for, right? Especially in a trusted medical setting.

It seems very unprofessional for a medical office to not provide an itemized receipt for what the patient actually had paid for.

Save yourself the headache and choose another dental office. A routine cleaning turned into a stressful experience and we are just at the mercy of whenever the front desk can “figure out” the receipt.

I’m going to investigate how to escalate this, because it doesn’t seem like a priority for the office at all. A receipt should be provided at the time of the transaction, but that’s just my opinion.

I was stricken by a very painful toothache. Made an online appointment with ease. As I was a first time patient it took slightly longer than I imagine a return patient takes but it was a very manageable wait time. I encountered 5 employees all of whom were extremely friendly late in a work day which is rare in such a demanding environment. Bree ( I believe) and Laura at the front counter I feel went above and beyond to make sure my insurance was applicable to the office visit and entered correctly the info I had not done right myself. Mary the hygienist was friendly and made me feel at ease even with the pain and discomfort of a toothache. Dr. Bradley Murry was the dentist I saw and explained in lamens terms the issues and laid out the options in such a manner it was easy to decide the best course of action moving forward. I recommend this location to any and all!!!

Dr Deepak and the staff were all so wonderful. I am super scared of dental procedures and had put off my procedure as long as I could. Dr Deepak and his assistant were very easy with me and they made it as pleasant as they could! The gentle pats made all the difference during the most trying parts. I am very pleased with my experience.

Came in for zoom whitening. Staff was wonderful. Everyone really seemed to enjoy their job. They were happy, kind, knowledgeable, and very attentive. Did 3 15 minute sessions today total Time spent in the office was 1 hour and I left with significantly whiter teeth. Dr.Murray did a great job in informing on what to expect as far sensitivity when I left the office. His assistants took time to make sure I was educated on how to apply the gel to sensitive spots.

The people that work at monarch are phenomenal. My dentist was so professional and more concerned about me than anything when it came to discomfort. He told me exactly what I should feel while the tooth was being pulled. If I was feeling any sort of pain I should tell him immediately. The extraction came out quickly and with no pain. I highly recommend this office.
