Coppell Modern Dentistry

I am fine with their services but I found their billing to be very deceptive. Marilee came in and explained everything but was very dishonest in the way she presented it. They tacked on several things that were not covered by insurance but explained it to me as if they were. When I called and spoke to Marilee she said I'm sorry I made that mistake but services are rendered and no money will be coming back to you. I was able to recoup some money due to insurance's maximum allowed and through scrutinizing the bill and getting my insurance involved. I was actually billed for "oral hygiene instructions" which literally was "floss every night." That was it and was $75. They explained it was always put on the insurance report but never charged. I pointed out where I DID actually pay for it and was refunded but I do not find this place to be very honest. I have since found a new dentist who is great and extremely up front with billing/insurance. Ask lots of questions! Or just find an honest dentist.

I had about 5 separate visits needed for crowns, root canal, cleaning & wisdom teeth. They surprised me on the day of my appointment doing 3 of those visits in the same day. Which I loved because of how busy as I am. Dr. Sambaraju is excellent from start to finish. Although I didn’t meet her until I was there for my crown, Dr. Tountas (Endodontist) was awesome as well. The lady who works on building the crowns in house was great as well & answered everything I asked.

I’m general, the whole staff was having fun with me & great sports the entire time I was there (cause I’m a clown child in a mans body). They clearly communicated what was happening next, answered my questions quickly & were very cognizant about how I was feeling the whole time since I was there for almost 6 hours. I’ve had to haggle with medical offices a lot about $$$, but my homie Felicia was answered every single question, modified things in real time to better help me understand & set me up easily on a payment plan without any issues.

I’d highly recommend this place and plan on finishing the work I need here while making it my permanent dentist office.

I’ve been a patient for the past few years and can’t begin to explain how genuine and caring the staff is. They are very flexible and accommodating to any and all needs. I’ve had a number of services performed here and can say I am extremely happy with all outcomes. If you’re looking for a professional and friendly staff, this is your place.

Been going to Coppell Modern Dentistry for a few years now and have never had a poor experience! Everyone in the office is wonderful and they do incredible comprehensive care. I highly recommend to anyone in the area!

Today, I’m in the office to do a crown on my teeth ( yellow top Big Teeth) but the problem teeth has not been sharpened to get ready for a crown, and the teeth(small white teeth) next to it has been taken sharpen off, and now the good teeth needs a new crown, and the problem teeth is still there. What a work!!!
Dr. Street pointed the problem teeth to me in the picture from their computer in the prior appointment, which the yellow area is largely appeared, and that tooth becomes sensitive, the recommended treatment is crowned it. Now a good tooth is half gone, and it needs a crown, and the problem teeth still has not been touched.
What is the recommendation to deal this problem? Can anyone help me?

I’d like to update this, this dentist modern dentistry did not refund me the charges they charged me for sharpening the wrong teeth, I went to other dentist for putting the crown in the wrong teeth. As ironic as it was, that week Dr. Street went to Austin capitole to do testimony.

It’s unfortunate such a nice front person is such a great front line person for lies. My husband and I have been WORKING on a refund from them for 6 months now (started July 2017), spanning from last end of summer 2018 to now End of January 2019. You would think these couple of dentists would care about how this looks and the bad business reviews they will have soon. We were first told last year in 2018 that it was all on the dental insurance not them, and my husband and I, being reasonable and patient let that excuse be the truth. We then over months find out that COPPELL MODERN DENTISTRY never sent the correct x-rays and codes to the Insurance, and had to repeatedly request and literally beg The dentist’s office to send the correct claim data and images. SO, then still in 2018, the insurance had indeed refunded our money to the dentist, which is due to us not the dentist, since I paid way over the total amount due from patient, to them; YET, every week now we get a load of excuses as to why Coppell Modern Dentistry WILL NOT GIVE US OUR PORTION DUE BACK FROM INSURANCE. We learned that they deal with a third party billing office. So, BEWARE of what you are charged and what Insurance allowed amounts are. You may never see your money if you overcharged and are owed a refund. And isn’t that kind of an insurance fraud, if the dentist keeps the money due back to the patient? or is it just taking from patient what the Dentistry should not? Or both? Let me point out that this office, assistants and certain dentists have provided good dental work, just their billing group seems to have issues, not caused by any one particular staff member there.

was considering this place because they advertise doing a lot of "same day" services i.e., booking, crowns, etc. i stopped by just to check it out and one of the front desk ladies had her mask off and was hitting/blowing her vape right in the front area made me feel very uncomfortable considering covid and the fact that this type of establishment should? have some stricter protocol in place due to the type of service they provide

My wife,, rose says, this state of the art office is Awesome! Has a knowledgeable crew, & a gentle hygienist Jessica is very compassionate, thank you for quickly & seemingly effortlessly thru the deep cleaning process 😉🏆
