I have been going to this dental office for many years after responding to a mailer when I lived nearby. I had tried 3 other dentists before but never felt any motivation to return. The staff here, especially the hygienist Juli, emphasize aggressive prevention of problems rather than the "drill, fill, and bill" mentality. They are always on time and very friendly. I also like not having to endure the hard sell for all the cosmetic services that many people complain about at other practices. I have referred several people to them who all loved their experience, and now two drive all the way from Southlake, and the other drives from McKinney rather than seeing dentists in their own neighborhood.

I have been seeing Dr. Blandford for over 30 years. I started with him in Houston and followed him to Dallas because I couldn’t find a dentist that took that kind of care of me in Houston. I have many crowns that were made 30 years ago and they are still going strong. I come to Dallas more than twice a year to see Dr. Blandford and it is well worth the drive.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ANY COST! Dr. Bill Blandford is a fraud. His only goal is to sell you $10k+ Invisalign braces. I went there for a just a regular dental checkup and granted it was 5 star service. Throughout the whole time Dr Blandford kept selling me the Invisalign as if it was a matter of life and death. I went to another dentist in Frisco and she said I didn't have any need for that. To top it off the receptionist said the general checkup is covered by insurance completely and I was shocked to find a separate bill in my mail today!

This place deserves no stars. This office is more focused on making a buck than they are patient care. I went in to have my wisdom teeth removed because I feared they were coming in and were causing me pain. "Dr. B" assured me that my wisdom teeth were definitely not coming in and probably never would. He instead convinced me that the reason I had such discomfort and pain was that my teeth were crooked and causing bone deterioration and pressured me to get Invisalign. Also because of the minor crookedness of my teeth I had some form of gum infection according to him and needed multiple deep cleanings and treatments also costing thousands of dollars that insurance refused to cover because there was no evidence that there were any signs of said infection. Me being trusting and wanting to rid myself of pain and not wanting further issues paid out of pocket for the treatments and the Invisalign therapy. Now... soooo many thousands of dollars later.... my wisdom teeth are now very visible and my now straight teeth are shifting and I am being forced to pay even more money to have my wisdom teeth removed. This place will scam you, trust me and stay away.

Some people fear public speaking more than death. I feared the dentist more than that. I found Dr. Blandford's practice during a google search for sedation dentistry. From the initial call, I was blown away by the attention and care given by his staff. I have never had a doctor personally call me to answer any questions and help put me at ease before an appointment.
I am proud to say, I no longer fear the dentist..as long as it is Dr. Blandford.
My teeth and gums were in pretty bad shape due to years of fear and neglect and I had to go in for multiple visits. With each visit, I felt more at ease thanks to the amazing staff. I can't thank them enough for helping me get over this fear. I'm looking forward to my next visit and one step closer to a beautiful smile!
Naturally, I recommended Dr. Blandford to my friends and a co-worker already made an appointment! If you have a fear of dentists, you definitely need to call them. The level of attention and care is incredible..a true example of patient care!

Dr. Blandford was referred to me by my Medical Insurance provider (United Healthcare) as he is one of the few dentists in my network that can provide oral devices for sleep apnea. My experience with Dr. Blandford and his staff has been outstanding. Appointments times are flexible, and he is always on time, no waiting in lobby! His attention to detail and thoroughness of the exam for the device was excellent. I can't ever recall having an exam with this level of expertise. The device was delivered on time, as promised.
I highly recommend Dr. Blandford if you are considering getting a snoreguard or sleep apnea oral device.

Dr. Blandford and the staff at ESD really make going to the dentist a fun experience. I love it so much I have recommended co-workers and friends to experience the excellent service. The girls are really kind and courtious always with a smile and kind words and Dr. Blanford has trully a special gift. 5 star for sure.

TODAY'S DATE 8/13/2013 What can I say Dr. Blandford and Staff, I have been a patient since 2006, when Dr. Hodges actually had it, but Julie & Cindy are the long time veterans and they all are the best. I have been guided thru my health of my teeth over the years with Dr. Blandford & Julie to ensure I am on track of keeping my teeth & gums healthy. Recently as of today just a couple of hours ago just had 2 crowns put on, The Dr. didn't even have to numb up, I have never had a surprise or anything to make me uncomfortable, Dr. Blandford and staff, always make suggestions of what we (I) should be doing to maintain the health of my teeth. Also just recently before all of the crowns work I had to have a root canal done that was the scariest thing for me to ever have done, more than having a tooth pulled. Dr. Blandford sent me to specialists and it did not hurt at all, I mean no pain. That’s why I give 5 * * * * *‘s
P.S. My favorite of all is the hot towel you get at the end to freshen up with. NOW THAT IS SERVICE
