Smile Structure Dentistry & Braces

I have been bringing my son for about 5 months now. Always very friendly. Today I was running behind. Had some issues getting out of work I thought I was going to make it on time. When I realized I wasn’t going to make it I called to let them know I was running behind They asked how late I told them about 15 mins. I was told no problem but just to let me know I would probably have a wait time. I said no problem. I get it I was late. Not disputing that. I pull up 15 mins late I call and I’m told ok they will call me as soon as a room is available. Knowing I was going to wait I kicked back. Well the appointment was at 1:40 I pulled up at 1:55. At 2:38 I called to see how long. And I did express I realize I was late. I was informed again “well you were late and other people were on time” and I get that. I’m just asking how long. I was told “I don’t know you were late and others were on time for there appointment” again I get I was late I told her I guess I will reschedule. So she proceeded to give me a appointment for June 23rd. Really I said a month from now. She stated THATS all I have available I stated I guess I will hav to wait. Again she told me how I was late. All together she reminde me 5 times how I was late and others were on time. I already owned I was late she didn’t need to keep telling me that. I just wanted to know how long. So I left my son there waiting and ran a errand. It is now 4:37 and he just now finished. Was taken to the back around 3:40pm. I’m sorry that is unacceptable. I don’t make a habit of being late and I fully understand patients coming on time should be seen it not there fault. However I don’t feel this is acceptable to have someone wait 2 hrs to be taken to back. I don’t feel she needed to keep reminding me that I was late. I feel she did it on purpose and that is unacceptable

I LUV this place! Always friendly! They try hard to make the kids comfortable and their office looks amazing! Love the theatre background and seats plus the game system and the adult area is awesome. Doctors and staff are great! Will not go anywhere else but here!

Both times I used them they treated me good and really worked on me. They seem to really care about the patients and my kids enjoy going to them too.

I love this office and staff. The staff is super attentive. Carla is our favorite!!! My daughter was needing some extensive dental work. Doctor suggested since its a lot of work, we do the conscious sedation, and some nitrous- laughing gas. We came in thinking the appointment was going to go smoothly but unfortunately my daughter fought the sedation. The doc couldn't finish any of the work we had talked about. This was her very first dental procedure and she was terrified, as a 7 yr old would be. I knew from the get-go that she was not going to let the doc finish since she began crying as so as he started the dental work. I was little uneasy about the first dental assistant. So i spoke with Carla and she reassured me that the dental assistant helping the doctor was an experienced dental assistant. That put me at ease. But she said that if at any time i felt like i needed her in the room i could ask for her. She told me exactly where she would be in case i needed her. Carla was actually right next door to my daughters exam room on her lunch break. As soon as she heard my daughter crying, she came in the room to assist. I did not have to go and get her. She was so loving and kind to my daughter and kept talking to her while the doctor tried to finish. She held her hand, stroked her hair. And kept telling her "its OK mami, you're going to be fine" . Those simple words and her holding my daughter meant so much. Even though i was in room the entire time, i just couldn't bare hearing her cry and scream. Carla took over as any mother would. My daughter ended vomiting on her sneakers. At that point i knew the appointment was over and i asked the doctor to stop. I was crying at his point along with my daughter. Carla hugged me and told me it was ok, and that this happens sometimes. The doctor stopped and explained that we would have to come back in two weeks and finish. 7/31/18- My daughter and i had our second appointment to finish the dental work. As i checked in I told the receptionist that i was requesting Carla as the dental assistant. We were called back pretty quickly. Carla took over as before. My daughter was already crying since the medication did not taste so great. So I stepped out of the room and my daughter did great with Carla encouraging her that she would be OK. Afterwards, Carla was so attentive and kept popping in our room just to make sure she was calm and asked if i was OK. Eventually my daughter fell asleep, but she did wake up right before the doctor came in. It was time for the dentist to start. Carla kept my daughter calm and again was holding her hand and kept encouraging and telling her that she was doing great. The way she spoke to my daughter made me feel at ease and i felt she genuinely cared for my daughter. My daughter did a complete 180 this time around and were able to finish everything in 30 minutes. At the end of visit Carla gave my daughter the biggest hug, she hugged me and my mother as well. She told us that if she needed anything to please call the office. I really recommend this office. ITS A DEFINITE 5 STAR OFFICE, AND A DEFINITE 5 STARS FOR CARLA!

On Veterans Day I was told by a close friend to contact smile structure in regards to being a veteran and getting well needed dental care. Once I showed up I was greeted like a family member and I explained my dental issues with one of their associates. After she spoke to Dr Adam Smith, I was told ( We got you !!) meaning they were able to give me a new smile in life! Previously I have suffered from broken and missing teeth I am a 61-year-old Navy veteran and I am now currently under Dr. Adam Smith’s treatment plan to get my new smile in life!! 🤠
This whole unit of caring ,thoughtful, considerate and loving people are helping me to get back the smile I lost many many many years ago I am very thrilled and excited to know this caliber of people who are here with their hearts and souls!! I thank each and every individual who volunteered on Veterans Day to help bring back the smiles of many! This is the best dental center in the entire United States of America. And a special thank you to: Dr. Adam Smith for veterans helping veterans!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dr. Melendez and Carla were the ones taking care of my son. He is only 16 months but teething is important. They were great. Answered all my questions and very helpful. Had toys for my son to play with and the wait was not long.

This place is awesome, broke my retainer and had to get them replaced. I showed up a couple of minutes before they closed and the staff gladly stayed behind to get them replaced. Service was super inexpensive and got them the next day. If I could give them 10 stars I would, they did an exceptional job.

My daughter and I believe we chose the right place for her braces. The employees are always so nice and helpful. I recommend smile structure on Ingram. Staff is professional with a smile aways on there fsces.

We had great service today! The experience picking up my sons retainers was phenomenal! Karla gave us all the explanation needed in English and Spanish which I loved!

The entire staff at Smile Structure is amazing! Taking 5 kids anywhere let alone a dentist can be a struggle but with this awesome staff they turn it into a breeze! Smile structure has been our home for over 6 years and we love it here!
