Summit Dental & Orthodontics

I scheduled an initial consult appointment for my son to get braces. I called to change the appointment because my son is sick and they told me I’d have to pay $50 to reschedule and he’s NOT even a patient yet. I’m sure with that type of fee most patients probably go to their appointment sick. I’ve seen what I need to see, and I will be scheduling an appointment somewhere else.

I drive half and hour to Summit Dental because I love it so much. Beautiful facility, incredibly friendly people from the moment you walk in, helpful and transparent. I've never had a bad experience here

These guys got me in for a dental emergency when my regular dentist wasn't able to. I'm so incredibly grateful for Summit Dental!!

UPDATE: Summit dental tried really hard to make things right, I appreciate this very much. I have had 3 appts now. My teeth feel squeaky clean after this mornings’ cleaning. I am grateful that things seem to working out now. I increased to two more stars because although this maybe the case for me, after everything that happened the hygienist kindly double-checked to make sure my husband’s cleaning was schedule with her and it was not despite all of the other conversations that transpired. I’m just glad she did that otherwise more issues would have happened. (The last girl did not do a good job and my husband still had plaque on his teeth that shredded when he flossed). No Bueno. Overall, my mind is starting to shift and hopefully things continue to work out.

PREVIOUS: I use to manage a dental practice for over 20 years. I thought this would be a good place to go for routine cleanings and what have you since we live close by. I wish we never started here. I felt this place is fake when it comes down to building relations with their patients. If they truly care then what has transpired over the past month or so would not have happened. We have had problems with appointments being cancelled and then not being cancelled, repeatedly. Appointments being scheduled with a specific service provider and then changed last second without any notice. We asked for our X-rays to be sent to us and we haven’t received them in either the mail or email. We then get an actually broken appointment fee sent to us for an appointment we cancelled well in advance. The bottom line is, their front desk is like a bunch of chickens running around with their heads cut off. Make sure you take down names and keep record of days/times you call so you have recourse. We hoped this would work out but it is clear to me that all they seem to care about is #’s and $$’s and patients just seem to be numbers to them. Their customer service is skin deep and nothing more. I can’t even say much about their service since I only had one teeth cleaning thus far. Truly disappointed and so over this dental office.

This place is fantastic! I have been going here for years and I don’t have one complaint. They are great with kids and have flexible hours that extend late so I don’t have to miss work. I highly recommend them!

Camille from the front desk was so helpful! She worked hard to get me the best price and made sure I understood it all. Heidi on the dental side is the best hygienist ever! She gave me so many helpful tips and suggestions. She explained everything so well and made sure I felt comfortable! I felt taken care of! I'm truly thankful!

I should start by saying that I’ve had horrible experiences as a child and young adult at the dentist, bad enough that I’ll go years between visits. We moved to Utah a few years back and found Summit Dental for our children. They were fantastic and our girls love coming here. I started to come here every 6 months or so and the staff is top tier. Very conversational and willing to take extra time to explain procedures and the”whys” behind everything they do. They’re understanding of my fear of going to the dentist and they make me feel as comfortable as possible. I’ll continue to come here because of the staff and the care they provide!

Office was neat and clean at irst glance! Large contemporary lobby which was inviting. Front office staff were very helpful and pleasant. Dental hygienist was very thorough and explain things very well and with a pleasant, welcoming smile. Cleaning was amazing and they had high end equipment to assist with cleaning. Consultation with the dentist was also thorough.
From the time I walked in to the time I left I was extremely happy with my experience.
I have been searching for a new dentist for quite some time and I was very pleased. I have finally found my best dentists office!

From day 1, the staff was very helpful and sympathetic to any pain we had from teeth. Bre up front, is amazing and has a special place in our hearts. We have personally spoken to ortho techs, who are all just as awesome. I have a very satisfied daughter, who gets her braces off in a month. I will refer everyone I know, to go here. We love Summit! 😁😁🥰
