Got a crown about a year and a half ago that has irritated my gum ever since. It had to be ground down a LOT because it was strangely too tall. Well, today a piece of candy I was eating pulled the crown off and with it was a large chunk of cotton packing that had been stuck inside the crown. That explains so much about why my gum was so painful and why the crown was too tall. I am upset because this could have led to a serious infection.
