Today was my first visit to Dr. C Dental-South Hill. It is a beautiful, clean, and comfortable office and the staff are so friendly and caring! I love the text and email communications. My hygienist, Kimbo, did a fantastic job. I could tell she did a thorough cleaning, but was also very gentle. It felt more like visiting an old friend than being at the dental office! Dr. Nielsen is very professional and kind. He explains things clearly and helps you understand your treatment options. He is very down-to-earth and obviously cares about his patients. The front office staff are great about scheduling to fit your needs and they are very kind. I can't recommend Dr. C Dental enough!

Best dentist in town for professionalism and for wholistic approach, Dr. Truman Nielson. Also, I give five stars for bed side (dental chair) manner. I have dental chair anxiety and I felt very cared for, with genuine concern from him and his assistant Lori. I highly recommend him.

We had a wonderful experience here with Dr Truman and Lori Johnson! My boys are 5 and 7 and they were treated so kindly even though we had some nervousness. I was able to have my work done with their help entertaining the Littles! Quick easy, very clean office!!

My experience at Dr. C Dental was so good. Dr. Fynn and I discussed and agreed on what was best for me.
I have 4 implants but my teeth never fit right. They were so painful. I looked at every web site severall times and kept coming back to. Dr. C.

Working with Dr. Nielson and his team is hands down the best dental experience we have had. My 9-year-old daughter had to have an emergency tooth pulled. The team was so kind and gentle with her, holding her hand and giving her step by step guidance. When we came home she said, “They’re my friends, mom. Only friends take care of you like that.” I myself had put off going to the dentist due to COVID-19 anxiety, but when I came into the office it was abundantly clean and spacious (very safe). There was no judgment for my lapse in appointments, and the team was graciously happy to pick up where we left off. It’s a bonus that scheduling is easy thanks to the collaborative environment. Overall, I would highly recommend this dental practice to anyone, especially those with children, dental or COVID anxiety. Thank you Dr. Nielson and crew.

I had a pleasant experience here at Dr. C. The staff was friendly and the lobby was welcoming.
I was called back on time and the crew in the back got to work on me promptly.
The chair was comfortable and there was a tv on a neutral channel that was entertaining.
The dentist came in and was very nice and knowledgeable. He was able to fill my chipped tooth in with no problem. There was no pain for me, discomfort, nor was there any anxiety. The friendly and reassuring personality of the doctor kept me at ease.
Lastly, the doctor will bring you out a quote of the potential cost the procedure will cost you. This quote is based off your current dental insurance.
I would recommend this dental office to friends and family based on my one visit.

I was experiencing a bad case of pericoronitis, and was is a lot of pain! Dr. C Dental was able to get me in same-day for a consultation, and extraction of all four of my wisdom teeth! Their staff is extremely friendly, and the Doctor was one of the best of his kind. They all had very good bedside manner, and made sure I was comfortable the whole way through. I highly recommend them for all your dental needs!
