Dr. C Dental - South Hill

Best dental experience I’ve had so far. Staff was great, facility was clean and Dr. Finn was professional and thorough.

All I have to say is WOW! It’s been many MANY years since I’ve even gone into a dentist office let alone actually get any work done. I have massive anxiety when it comes to doctors and dentists visits. The staff here are outstanding! They listened to what I wanted to focus on as well as my long term goals for my dental health and didn’t make me feel guilty about my dental habits. They were so incredibly nice and helped make me feel super comfortable while getting my dental stuff done and helped me with tips and steps to take toward further bettering my dental hygiene habits. I’m so so happy with how my smile is starting to look and am so excited to work with them further. Definitely a life long client. :)

Last week I cracked my molar and went to my regular dentist to get it evaluated. Long story short, they didn’t see me until a week afterwards and they took an X-ray and told me “you need a root canal, go see specialist”. They didn’t offer any more explanation or options and sent me on my way. Turns out I couldn’t get seen until 4 weeks later for a root canal and I’m currently 32 weeks pregnant. Luckily I found Dr. C’s and I called them at 2p and they saw me at 5p same day! They explained everything in depth, gave me options, and were able to even do a filling for that broken tooth for a low cost! Everybody was very friendly and efficient! Once I change my insurance, I will definitely be coming to Dr. C’s permanently!

I absolutely love this dentist! The office and facilities are clean, the staff are kind and compassionate. They took the time to listen and hear what issues I have been dealing in caring for my teeth and advised on what I can do to take better care of them. From listening, to the New Patient goody bag, a hand written Christmas card it all shows they do care and want you to feel welcomed. The thing that got me intrigued was the night and weekend special. No need to take time off work! A HUGE bonus!

The best dental cleaning I have received thus far in my lifetime. The office is extremely clean, updated and courteous. Michelle has the kindest demeanor that set me at ease. Dr. also had excellent chair side manner.

I had a great experience! I had two fillings today and Dr. Stacey was extremely personable and professional. I felt 100% comfortable in her care and she had me in and out in a timely manner while also taking time to make sure I was comfortable. Very, very professional staff and very attentive to your needs. They make sure you have the utmost comfort and know exactly what they are doing. All in all, 5 out of 5 would recommend Dr.C!

Dr. Truman Nielsen is considerate, thoughtful, and kind. Easily the best experience I've had with dental care in my lifetime. I was a patient of his at his previous location on the South hill, and followed him to this new office. Disappointingly, I've received consistently poor and unprofessional service from the front office staff at Dr. C Dental to the point that it's not worth dealing with them anymore to come see him.

Tried to recommend a new patient with limited availability due to his work schedule and they unapologetically (and without accountability) had made an error, so he ended up taking time off work that day for no reason, and had to do so again to reschedule. He then dealt with the same unprofessional treatment I'd received, which I had hoped was a fluke. Not from Dr. Nielsen, who was his only positive experience that day, but from the hygenists who treated him like a spectacle, asking many invasive personal questions which made him incredibly uncomfortable. He already had massive anxiety surrounding his appointment, and it was an embarrassing experience to have unwittingly given a bad recommendation for such a personal service.

The last straw was receiving an appointment confirmation call at 7pm the evening prior to my last appointment, upon which I was immediately notified that I would be charged a $50 late cancelation fee without even asking why I wouldn't be able to come in.

I could go on. Each time I hoped these disappointments were a stand alone thing, but they've steadily emerged into a consistent pattern of unprofessional interactions.

I don't make a habit of writing negative reviews, and prefer to give businesses a chance to hear this type of information directly. After attempting to give them feedback more than once already and receiving the same 'your opinion means little to us' attitude each time, I'm hoping a public review makes it worthy of their time to review their policies so other people won't have to deal with the same poor service in the future.

Super friendly staff and specifically my hygienist who talked with me and made me feel comfortable despite being at the dentist! My initial appointment didn’t take too long which included X-rays and pictures as well as a usual 6 month cleaning, where the hygienist was very informative! The facility was very nice and very clean. Even the “goodie bag” had nicer quality floss, toothpaste and even a bonus whitening stick pen! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

I've always been so afraid and nervous about the dentist and Michelle the hygienist on the south hill was absolutely AMAZING she took her time and wanted to actually take good care of me, get to know me and not rush me out! She was very comforting and made the experience so great! Front desk was very welcoming and sweet. The Dr was fantastic as well, (I forgot her name but it was the female dr on the south hill) I have nothing negative to say about this dental office! Very clean and friendly everywhere in there! I'm so glad I found a place I can trust to take good care of me!! Thank you all so much! I would give 10/5 stars if I could 🤪

I have been to few different dental offices in Spokane and Dr. C Dental surpasses them all by far. It starts when you first walk in and are greeted by the receptionists; these ladies are all so wonderful, sweet, professional and welcoming. The dentist and their assistants are wonderful people as well; they go above and beyond to make sure your needs are met, they explain things clearly and don’t ever pressure you into anything and they’re very understanding. I can’t say enough good things about them. I have yet to have a bad experience and I’ve been coming here for quite some time for quite a few appointments. I’ve been seen by Dr. Nielsen and Dr. McDonald, and they are both awesome dentist. You will not be disappointed with choosing Dr. C Dental to take care of your smile!
