My experience was always "okay" with Dental Associates, my dentist Dr. Madawala was mostly neutral and seemed bored most of the times I was in. I've been in several times for fillings, a tooth extraction and a cleaning. When I had pain in my back tooth, they recommended a root canal and gave me the price breakdown; I was young and overwhelmed so I actually planned to do it and get on their credit card plan to pay it off, since it was going to cost me over $1000. They never gave me the option that they could just remove the tooth, and it wasn't until I called them later asking about extraction that they gave me that option. The extraction ended up being about $38 after insurance - MUCH BETTER. The procedure with Dr Brown was excellent, however the nurse and anesthesiologist weren't too friendly. They also frequently pressured me to remove my wisdom teeth even though I have never had problems with them and neither have any of my family, so I don't foresee problems. One of my wisdom teeth even came in place of the tooth that was removed!
All in all, okay experiences, but never very personal or friendly. Very professional, however.

Had root canal done, next day in extreme pain. Called dentist and they said it was normal for 3-5 days, that is not normal. Asked for prescription pain meds and they dragged their feet. Doctor went to lunch and ignored putting in prescription. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Very nice hygienist. Did great job! Only issue is that my 6 mos follow up imhad to be scheduled for 8 months out due to lack of scheduling availability.

My hygienist, Caitlin, was awesome. She was friendly and explained everything throughly. If I had a question that she didn’t know the answer to, she was sure to get someone who did. Highly recommend!

Yesterday far surpassed any kind of negative experience I have ever had at any dentist. I cannot even begin to describe the kind of mistreatment I endured. First of all, I was called multiple different names none of which were actually my name such as "Katie", "Katelyn", and "Kaylee". All you need to do is literally read my name off a screen or piece of paper and that cannot even be done properly. I knew my previous insurance was ending less than 6 mo ago at my original dental office, therefore I had x-rays taken. When I scheduled my appointment at Dental Associates, I told them I would have my X-rays sent to their facility so I would not have to get additional X-rays. They told me that this would be honored. However, I quickly learned that this was NOT the case! I was forced into pointless X-rays including multiple bitewing films and a panorex. I work in radiology as my career including CT Scan, X-ray, and MRI. The amount of radiation I get in my job day to day can sometimes be at high levels. I try to reduce the amount of radiation I get outside of work as much as possible. I explained that I wanted to refuse my X-rays because of the amount I receive from my career everyday and that I had my films sent over. She did not even care one bit and told me that these X-rays were REQUIRED. I also work for a very reputable area hospital and under no circumstance do we EVER force a patient into a procedure that they do not wish to be performed. The patient should always be in control of their health or dental care. My rights as a patient were completely ignored. At this point, my actual teeth and mouth have yet to be physically looked at. Maybe if you actually looked at my mouth first, you would realize that the X-rays were NOT needed! They did not even ask me if there was a chance of pregnancy and the tiny, microscopic sign on the wall asking such was inappropriate: why even have that? I barely even noticed it was there. I was lead down a isle with multiple mass production dental chairs in use in a room with about 20-30 other people getting cleanings and procedures performed. It was so loud with the amount of drills, cleaning equipment, and a constant buzzing of dental equipment it was even difficult to hear the dentist. He did not even look at my X-rays prior to looking in my mouth. I had to physically ask him to pull up the bitewing and panorex films otherwise he probably would NOT have even looked at them! How pointless!! The dentist had his little pick and was going through my mouth when all of a sudden I felt him putting massive pressure down on one tooth. Then I felt a part of my tooth giveaway and MASSIVE pain I almost flew out of the chair! Then he proceeded to tell me "You have a cavity." I would almost bet money he caused that cavity right at that time. I have NEVER had any one put so much pressure on one of those dental picks on one pinpoint area of my teeth in my life! Of course with that kind of force anybody's tooth is going to giveaway! I am someone who has very healthy oral care and has only even had one cavity in my entire 26 years! They instantly had a quote ready and handed it right over like they knew that was coming. I was told my hygienist would "be right in". 30 min later. I was sitting in that cubicle like area in the chair alone. At one point I ripped off my "bib" and stood in the isle and nobody even noticed I was there! I was listening to the kid in the cubicle next to me and could see his feet reeling around in pain during a filling. He kept telling them it was hurting him and he was being ignored. It was painful to even just be a witness to that. Finally the hygienist arrived and I have NEVER had such a painful cleaning. I had water being sprayed all over my face (my hair was even wet when I was done). Not to mention I was staring at her hair hanging a mere inch or two from my mouth and face.....gross! DO NOT GO TO DENTAL ASSOCIATES! TERRIBLE PATIENT CARE! I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO MISTREATED IN MY LIFE AND LEFT THE OFFICE CRYING! I was treated better when I took my dog to the vet.

Always good and fast service. In and out in 30 mins usually. That includes xrays. My while family goes here. Highly recommend Ann. She's awesome! Haven't had a single cavity since going to her.

They are very friendly and will go out of their way to help. Had a tooth that was sensitive and hygienist saved that one for last and only polished it (it is by itself in back so it could be avoided).

I went here for my first cleaning in 6 years and was told I had multiple cavities that needed filling. Fast forward a few weeks and I got pregnant with my second child so the appointment to have them filled was never made. When my first son turned two, I started going to a family dentist in De Pere that specializes in Child Dentistry. Low and behold, I have NO CAVITIES. Dental Associates Green Bay is a scam!!! I would have spent hundreds of dollars for what? To have them pretend to fill cavities that never existed?

I'm getting ortho treatment (braces) here. After 1 and a half years, all they've managed to do was straighten 1 tooth and close the open bite a little. Some of the assistants are nice, but usually the assistants are just gossiping and talking with each other and pay no attention to me. Some of the assistants don't bother to do what the orthodontist says. For example, Dr. Lapp had asked the assistant to take pictures of my teeth again for comparison to when the treatment started and the assistant didn't bother. Dr. Sediqzad is my new orthodontist. Some of the assistants don't seem to care what she says either. She had asked an assistant to schedule me my next appointment out 1-2 weeks and then the following appointments sooner than the typical 4 weeks to speed up my treatment. I called back to reschedule and the the assistant tells the phone receptionist to schedule me out 2 weeks and then another 4 weeks. The phone receptionist told me they can schedule my next appointment less than 4 weeks if Dr. Sediqzad says so at the next appointment implying I lied to her. Who has oversight of my treatment schedule? Is it the phone receptionist, assistant, or the orthodontist? Some of the assistants seem to dislike Dr. Sediqzad based on my observation of their behaviors. I don't anticipate her staying very long with Dental Associates.

Had 4 of my wisdoms pulled, wasnt prescribed antibiotics. Got infected and developed dental abscess, had unbareable pain. Went to first follow up 2 days after appointment and day 4 after apptmt because pain was getting worse to the point where I couldnt talk or even swallow my own saliva. Told it was normal even though I could barely talk or open my mouth. At the 3rd followup a week after having my wisdoms pulled I was about to be sent home with the same explanation, but I wasnt having it, told them if they werent going to take this seriously I would be going to ER right after. Went to Aurora ER and ended up having surgery and admitted for a week! terrible nightmare and tramatized! I tell everyone i know to stay away because of the lack of concern and it took 3 followups -same explanation when there was a TRUE issue causing the pain that no one cared to listen! Stay away!!!!!!
