I wouldn't go anywhere else! I have been going to North Shore Dental for years. The front desk staff is warm and welcoming. Joanie and Dr. Smith always make you feel comfortable and answer my questions. More importantly they are very gentle. I have referred friends and family as well. I will continue to do so as they are the best!

Dr Smith has the best chair side manner (starting with firm but calm voice all the way to how he wipes your face). He’s knowledgeable and funny. Inclusive of every conversation. Reassuring along the way. The doctor and his wife are present owners (and clinicians) and are fully vested in the practice (almost guaranteed to be well cared for)! All staff are friendly and They use technology to help improve efficiencies. Our whole family uses Dr Smith with absolute trust and certainty that he will take the very best care.

I went in for a crown and Dr. Smith was able to save some of my tooth by doing an overlay instead. The procedure was more difficult, and he was very proficient. He explained everything well and seemed to truly care about doing a perfect job and keeping me comfortable. I had no pain during or after the procedure. His assistant was also very professional, efficient, and courteous. The experience and outcome was far better than I had expected.

Absolutely outstanding service. I developed a dental emergency and of course it was over the long Thanksgiving weekend. Texted with Dr. Craig Smith, who was out of town but took the time to evaluate and prescribe an antibiotic for me. The staff got me in to the office at 8:30 on Monday morning, and my posterior abscessed tooth was pulled (painlessly I might add) and I was on my way by 9:30am. WOW! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! Dr. Smith and his team are a class act. Love this dental office. I moved from Mequon to Oconomowoc where there are tons of dentists, but no way will I switch to one that is closer. Worth the longer drive. Thank you again.

I am extremely satisfied with the dental care I’ve received from Dr. Art. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend him to anyone. He kindly listened to all my concerns and addressed them immediately. I look forward to the many years to come trusting him with my teeth.

I started going to Dr Smith by accident when I broke part of my tooth while working in another state and called the wrong office. I am so happy I did call North Shore Dental. Dr Smith stabilized the tooth which allowed me to continue to travel for business and fixed it permanently once we were able to go back to the dentist with all the Covid restrictions. He has also cleaned and fixed some old cavities while making sure I am comfortable and as relaxed as possible. The team takes time to make sure I’m comfortable, taken care of, and aware of my options. Thank you for all the help.
