First impressions are lasting impressions! Cute, welcoming office atmosphere...
My daughter and I had our first visit a week ago. We followed our friend (Joy - North Shore's Admin Assistant) as a referral and I must say, I was impressed.
We saw Joanie, she was professional, explained step by step what she was doing and why. They have some of the best equipment I've seen. And for me, being a single mother, the best part of my experience was, they let you know what the cost factors are or will be for your visit before they do anything!!! I loved it. I have to go back in September for some more work and I already know what I have to budget for for the service. The bomb so far!!
And then it all changed...
My fiancee had a stroke and I called to reschedule my f/u appointment because all my time was spent with him in the hospital. I spoke with a staff member who seemed to not have a empathetic bone in her body. She was very rude and dismissive of the true issue as to WHY I asked to reschedule.
I was told because I wanted to reschedule my appointment, not cancel it, I'd have to pay $350 because they sat aside 2 hours for my appointment. Hmmmm, my fiancee didn't plan a stroke so why am I being talked to so unprofessionally. I didn't have the strength to deal with it and because of this, I'm back on the search for a dentist. I see they treat you good as long as you don't mess up anything for them. I'll pass with the insensitive, rude and unprofessionalism.
There are too many dentists out here for that.

Although, the professional staff here are not bad, the front desk has never been very welcoming. We were just about to change dentists when somehow we got Dr Bob. He is awesome and so we decided to stay on as long as we can have Dr. Bob. We really wish we had Dr. Hanna, but he retired and these guys took over his practice. What a pity
Unfortunately, there were no evening hours or Saturday hours so scheduling is a problem and I refuse to have my son miss classes in high school. Last time, Heather, one of the receptionists asked if I could change my son's appointment. I agreed to do so, but we had a problem finding alternate days. However, the other receptionist Mallory was rude and put the phone down on me, when I was doing them a favor trying to reschedule my son's appointment to accommodate them.
Basically, if it was not for Dr Bob and for Heather who is one of the nicer receptionists, I would never go back to this dentist.

Super clean office , very friendly staff and group of hygienists. Dr. Smith explains everything and provides options when additional care or treatments are required. Highly recommend this office if you’re looking for a dentist.

I had Zoom Whitening Treatment - and WOW did my smile ever sparkle after this short visit! I was in and out within in about an hour and half, my smile is gorgeous and the professionalism and knowledge of the team at North Shore Dental was fabulous.

I really like my dentist, Dr Smith. He’s very honest. Every time I go there I have a great experience! I like the people there! They are really nice!

This place is horrid and I'm not saying it mildly. I've never experienced such an unprofessional staff. The office manager, Karen, is the rudest woman I have ever come across. Unfortunately, it's a small office so she's unavoidable. Dr. Smith doesn't return phone calls even after several attempts. There are so many dentist offices to choose from that are good at what they do, North Shore needs a lot of work.

I had my first filling with Dr Smith today, and all I can say is Wow! He was very gentle, to where I couldn't feel the shot! He took his time and I didn't feel like he was rushing! Two thumbs up!

It's a complete racket. I never even made it into the office. I had an appointment scheduled a month out, but I got a called about two week before. They asked me if I could change the time of my appointment, which I thought was a little rude, especially since it came with no apologies or reasons. It was a bit of an inconvenience, but I understand that things happen, so I did it. The person I talked to over the phone asks me if I've received the paperwork in the mail yet, which I hadn't. She asks for my e-mail so they can e-mail it to me instead. She then has a hard time figuring out how to use e-mail and has to call me back about it. I would think a receptionist would know how to use e-mail. Well, I never receive it, and wait over the weekend to see if maybe they'll send it on Monday instead. I then get a call on Monday saying I missed my appointment. I told the person that my appointment was two weeks away. No, apparently when I was asked to change the time, that included a day that was never mentioned to me over the phone. "But it was in the e-mail I sent you." Well, first of all, I never got your e-mail. Second of all, you can't ask me to change the day without my knowing you're changing the day. If I known that, I wouldn't have done it. I work. I can't just show up at 10AM on the Monday. I need a month ahead to request off. But no, if I want to get my appointment back, it'll cost me $65. $65 because the receptionist messed up. I guess you will never see me there, then.
