I would first like to say that the customer service is superb! Each staff member I came in contact with was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The receptionist was so sweet, she offered water or coffee and also put a movie on for my small child. The assistants were great, along with Dr Parkin. He took his time discussing my treatment and all of my concerns. The office manager went over the finances for my future treatment and was really nice and professional. And I didn’t feel overwhelmed. His lead Assistant did an amazing job on my front teeth and assured me if I had any concerns, they would address them immediately. When they walked me to the front to check out, Yunique was so pleasant and went above and beyond to reiterate my treatment, what was most important next, and found appointments that work great for my schedule. I am a busy Mom and their wide range of days and times of availability work great for my family and I.
Thanks again and I highly recommend this office for your family dental needs.
Respectfully,

I just found my new dentist! The best experience from start to finish. They got me and my son in the next day and cleaned my teeth (on a Saturday). My next visit is on Monday and I'm not nervous anymore! Love..much better than my last dentist that I've been at for years. Super happy and affordable.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Parkin for the past 8 years and there isn't a better dentist! He is professional, kind and caring - after having a crown or root canal procedure, what dr. calls his patients, in the evening, just too see how they are doing?! His staff, from the front office to the hygienists and dental assistants are the greatest - they are personable and provide excellent patient care.

Been going to Dr. Parkin for years. He's always pleasant and does a good, thorough job. Tried someone else for awhile because of insurance. Went back to Cheyenne Dental to get a proper job done on mymy teeth.

Fantastic group of people. Every single person who works there is polite, professional, and charming. I have not been to the dentist in, now that I think about it, almost 20 years, whilst still in my parent's custody. And the lobby wreaked heavily of medicine.
Back then, the hygienist would tap-tap on your teeth, take x-rays, then send the dentist. The dentist made small talk with your mom. Then he turned to you, "Tiger, go take a toy out of the toy box." And that was a checkup.
CMDC's lobby smells like flowers. They have all these gadgets and gismos. Lasers and sprayers and polishers that emit such sounds as, "Pew-pew-pew."

What was the other one? Oh yeah, my favorite. It was:
"How are you?"
It's a manicure for your mouth.
And that was Cheyenne Mountain Dental Care for me.
A manicure for your mouth.

A bit annoyed with the office, though I do generally like the staff and Dr.Parkin. I have been going here for about 3/4yrs and have spent plenty of $$ as i needed a fair amount of work done -and I never had a complaint. I actually almost never complain about anything and generally sit back and trust the professionals but this has got me very upset. Anyways, I called to complain about a recent cleaning and the office manager basically implied I didn’t want to pay the hygienist for her time -which is untrue, I am happy to pay for services actually rendered. And she kept saying she was confused about what the problem was. She made the call very uncomfortable - I don’t feel like they would move an inch for you if you have a complaint. I would expect her to see from my history I do not have a record of arguing over bills or complaining - I pay for services not covered by insurance promptly. I normally get my cleanings with the same girl who is friendly and thorough but last time they had me see someone new. She sprayed my whole face with water, she did not polish or floss my teeth. I think I must have been in between her and her lunch break as it felt very careless and rushed. I was then sent a bill for the full amount of the cleaning $81 and was naturally a bit upset. I did not get a full cleaning, I had the first step of a cleaning -plaque and tartar removal and to be honest I don’t feel that was done thoroughly as she went so quickly around my teeth and got water all over me and I was out of there in under 15 mins. My previous cleanings have all taken much longer - about 30 minutes and have involved a polish / cleaning with toothpaste, flossing, rinsing, and a fluoride treatment. She told me a cleaning does not take a set amount of time - any reputable hygienist would say approx 30 minutes. If you look on their website they explain what their cleanings entail - that’s not what I got and I explained this to her. I was put with who I assume was a new girl (never seen her there before), who did a poor hurried job, and your attitude towards my complaint was equally poor, you treated me like I was trying to whine my way out of a bill. At no point did they offer to have me come in for a cleaning that is up to their usual standards, or apologise, or offer a reduced rate on the bill, or even offer to ensure I am always scheduled with the usual girl in the future. Not a great customer service experience for the sake of a measly 81$. They also never returned my call about this on Monday when I asked to speak to someone about the situation - interesting since they are always quick to return calls about scheduling.

The staff at Cheyenne Mountain Dental Care took real care of me . I was so afraid that since I had not been to a dentist in over 20 years I would get the "What for" speech. To my surprise they treated me like family, was very concerned about my safety and all my concerns. They took my x-rays and I had to giggle at the fact it wasn't that big bulky plastic thing we used to have to bite down on and try not to gag as they took the x-rays. Now it is digital and the piece you bite down on actually fit in my mouth and wasn't uncomfortable. They had a little issue with me due to I had no idea what they were doing or wanting. But with Jesus' help in calming me down and the staff being so wonderful, kind, and soft spoken it all got done in a about 4 minutes. I was impressed. All the dentists were kind, soft spoken, and let me know what options I had to look forward to. I was able to see what they were doing with lazier scanners and boy was I surprised of how my mouth looked inside. I was asked to stay for a cleaning due to someone canceled and with much needed cleaning and Jesus at my side I agreed. The cleaning was easier than before. Everyone was kind, understanding, and very helpful in getting me to calm down, relaxed and in the positions they needed me to be in. It was nice to get two visits done at the same time. I was brought in on Monday to go over a portion of what they want to do and this surprised me due to I have only had the "You will do or we will not pay" policy. To actually have a choice and an input of my care really makes a difference. Thank you everyone for all the special love, understanding, care, and concerns you gave to me and helped me through. Now to see how long it will take to come up with the money to pay for everything. Please don't wait too long to get your teeth taken care of. Cheyenne Mountain Dental Care will take care of you and make the trip worth all the love and friendship you can expect and then some. God bless you all! La Donna

If you're needing routine cleaning, this place is fine, especially if you don't have dental insurance. Their $165 deal is a STEAL. But, if you need anything else done, go somewhere else.
I had multiple fillings done here. But, the teeth on the right side of my mouth just never felt "right", even after having bite adjustments done They were extremely sensitive to temperature and I had to re-learn how to eat and drink in a way that wouldn't contact with that tooth. The pain was a huge shock running up my jaw that would last many minutes. I couldn't go back to have them checked as this was happening during a move and some other medical emergencies that needed immediate attention.
Fast-forward to us moving half-way across the country and I am in AGONY. What I thought was an ear infection turned into the worst jaw pain I've ever had; even worse than the dry socket I had when I had my wisdom teeth out in Jan 2019.
I was able to get an emergency appointment and they took x-rays to see what the issue was. My second molar on the bottom right side had a massive infection and a filling that was sitting ON THE NERVE. All my other fillings also needed to be redone. The dentist who is now taking care of me took a camera to my mouth to show me how the filling was just sitting on top of the tooth, but not actually filling the cavity.
So now, I will need the problem molar removed, an implant put in its place, and two additional crowns on some other teeth that Cheyenne butchered. They should have NEVER filled my molar and should have taken a closer look. My panoramic x-rays I've had done at my new dentist show a tooth with roots so long they touch the nerve that runs along the bottom of the jaw. Much too long for a root canal and likely causing some of the pain just by touching the nerve. But now I'm going to have to pay $$$$$$ to fix what was never done properly in the first place.

The best dental experience I ever had!! I didn't have to wait long to be seen the people there we're so nice to me. The place is very comfortable and made me feel at ease. The dentist people did a marvelous job with my teeth and giving me advice to keeping my teeth and gums healthy and my health as well. I will be going back again and recommend anyone who's in the springs area to give them a try you will not regret it I promise you. 🙂🙂🙂
