I have tried to transfer to an orlando location since July of 2021. They assured me before I started my Invisalign that I could easily transfer to another location. They gave me a list of locations in both orlando and Illinois since I was not certain where I would move to when I started Invisalign in February( awesome customer service, so I thought)..They finally "started" the transfer process in October (3 months after I moved and requested the transfer). I have called numerous times and used their chat feature and have yet to receive a response. It has now been 6 months since my transfer request. Update: I have not seen a dentist in over 9months. I am paying monthly to have these services available.
On a good note: The dental assistant is sweet and helpful when you're in for services. However, as a whole, they have Poor follow up skills on procedures/charges and their execution on promised services is completely lacking. They are simply cashing in and not providing results. I will not recommend Invisalign nor this dental company to anyone!!! I hope they finally see my message and help me to finish my Invisalign treatment fully!!!

Anna was my hygienist and she was great! I was nervous but she talked me through what she was doing and helped put me at ease. The staff at the front desk are friendly and efficient. All in all a great experience. Have already recommended them to someone like me who is nervous about going to the dentist.

The reason for the 2 stars is because how soon they were able to book me to extract 3 wisdom teeth and the price they quoted. However, it was the worst decision ever!
First off, I filled out paperwork online, prior to my appointment. My appointment was at 1:30pm and it took a while for staff to come to my car to check me in. I hate the fact they came to the car to give me medicine that causes drowsiness and told me to sit in the car for an additional 20 mins. The person who drove me was nervous because if I would’ve had a reaction to the medication, she wouldn’t know what to do.
Fast forward: I’m in the chair getting numbing shots in my gums and I begin to wiggle. The tech says to me “don’t move or the doctor will stop” mind you, the doctor is shoving a needle in my gums. He didn’t even speak to me! I was numb, but I felt how hard the doctor was tugging and how much force he used. I put on my paperwork that I have anxiety, but it was pointless because they didn’t take any of it into consideration. I also believe this is the reason I’m in so much pain (pulling and tugging)
Fast forward: After the procedure, they wheeled me to my car gave me a piece of paper (I could have googled) and sent me home. On the ride home, I began to slobber blood all in my friends car. I found they didn’t even put any gauze in my mouth for my 3 extraction sites. It was so much blood!
Fast forward: Day 5 after extractions, I’m still in a world of pain. I cry every day because I regret getting them pulled. I had to visit the ER on day 3 because I didn’t sleep, I cried for hours, and the pain was triggering my anxiety. They had to change my pain medication and antibiotics, but it still doesn’t help. This pain is worst than my C-Section!
I do believe there is hope for this office. I try to see good in everything. I took a friend to another local dentist for her tooth extractions and they gave us materials to take home, after care pamphlet, and they talked to me since I was the one taking care of her. This was comforting and what Gainesville Family Dentistry is missing.

This was my first visit to the practice as my husband and I recently relocated from upstate NY. I needed a permanent crown to replace the temporary one our previous dentist put in place just prior to our move. I saw Dr. Winterman and he was extremely kind, professional, and thorough. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly, professional, and welcoming. I am very satisfied with my choice of this dental practice and look forward to continuing this relationship.

Dr. Winterman is the best dentist I’ve ever been to! I felt no pain during my root canal. I like that he told me everything he was doing. It made me less stressed during the procedure. The staff at GFD is so friendly. Im so glad I found such a great dental office!

It not good because I was in pain because I had a tooth ache and I had to go somewhere else and the other place told me I had a ulcer in my mouth

Always great service! They helped fix a tooth that I broke many years ago and were able to take me in at a moment’s notice to look at my gums when they were hurting and clean them. Additionally the technology (3D modeling & x-ray machines) that they use in their office is second to none which was pretty cool when compared with my typical dentist that I go to in New York!
