Due to dental anxiety, I have put off routine dental visits for a very LONG time. I finally went to see Dr. Hathaway this morning and, though my anxiety was through the roof, my visit was amazing. I am scheduled to return this April to have a deep dental cleaning and cavities filled under sedation. Dr. Hathaway, and his staff, were kind, compassionate and understanding!! I highly recommend his office, ESPECIALLY if you are like me, you won’t be disappointed! Thank you Dr. Hathaway for being you! You made my visit today much better than I could have ever imagined!

I like to think if myself as a guy who isn't afraid if much, but I was definitely terrified of the dentist. Was being the key term. Dr Hathaway is simply the best dentist anywhere. He is knowledgeable, kind and walks me through every procedure even if it's a small one. I have been seeing Dr. Hathaway for almost 20 years. I am no longer afraid of the dentist! I can't recommended Dr. Hathaway enough. Even the scariest procedure is a cake walk. Best. Dentist. Anywhere!!!

Hands down the best dentist I've ever had. I've had a few different dentists over the years, and never found anyone who I felt truly listened to me, or really cared about me as a patient. That is, until I discovered Dr. Hathaway's office! Every single person you interact with in the office is so friendly and welcoming. I found Dr. Hathaway's office by driving down State Street and seeing the "Sedation Dentistry" sign on his building. As I have always had to be a frequent visitor to the Dentist's office, I decided to check it out...I am SO glad I did! I have had many procedures at this office, and with sedation, or without, I have always been comfortable and happy with the care I have been given. I am confident I am receiving professional care, and I feel that Dr. Hathaway tries to make sure that you maximize your insurance dollars while getting the best care possible. His Chairside Assistants are AMAZING...they always anticipate what will be needed and this makes the procedures go as smoothly and quickly as possible. The Hygienists...super fantastic!!! Very professional, THOROUGH, and great conversationalists! Front Office Staff - very friendly...always know your name, and help you with making appointments that are convenient and fit in your schedule. (I'm a Teacher, and they know our Districts Breaks and days off better than I do!). Mary Ellen takes care of the financial part of the practice, and she is patient and really takes care of business! In summary...try them, you'll like them! (Hope this wasn't too long....!)

My whole life I have been a dentists worst patient until I met Dr Hathaway!
I often would end up in a panic attack, and end up in tears! Dentistry was always my biggest nightmare!
Dr Hathaway and staff are all so kind and respectful! Each are committed to putting each patient FIRST!
The doctor is kind, patient, and the BEST with shots! I barely feel them! That’s a miracle to me and he can make my mouth stay numb! Another first for me!

Today I had my first procedure at Time To Smile and I couldn’t have been happier! My teeth have gotten really bad because I never wanted to go to the dentist regularly and do the up keep required to maintain good oral health. I didn’t go because I was afraid of the pain (shocking, I know) most dentists had put me through. Today I had a root canal and crown and I was asleep for most of it because of the oral and Intramuscular sedation medicine I had been given. After the procedure, I didn’t have that swollen face feeling you get when you have had excessive amounts of Novocaine. I didn’t have any post operative pain either. The doctor even called me later in the day to see how I was doing and to answer any questions I might’ve had. I thought this was cool since I was still a little tired immediately after my procedure. They were even willing to work with me on a payment plan. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend Time To Smile to anyone, but especially to those who have severe anxiety about going to the dentist, like I do.

From my initial phone call, when I spoke with Sarah, to make an urgent appointment; to Ashley, who greeted me and checked me in; to Becky, who took my payment; and to Alyce who was my dental assistant, everyone, without exception, was friendly, patient and helpful!
Dr. Pelletier really worked hard to save my tooth, and so far, so good! He answered all of my questions, before, during and after the procedure. And that evening he called to make sure I was doing okay. The next morning I texted some concerns I had regarding my pain level and he patiently advised me and assuaged my uneasiness.
By far, this has been the best dental encounter I have ever had!

My husband has been going to Dr. Hathaway for over 10 years and I've joined him for the last 5 years or so. I've spent A LOT of time in dentist chairs and this is the first dentist office that has successfully numbed me for a procedure! I always viewed the dentist as a long torture session filled with sweat and tears (literally). It wasn't until I came here that I was able to experience what others have experienced all along...a painless dental visit. On top of that, Dr. Hathaway and his staff are wonderful! We just went for our cleanings, and as always, we were impressed by the service and care we received. I would recommend this place to anyone I know.
