Last night, I apparently lost a front part of my tooth and noticed it when I woke up. At noon, knowing that I had no dental insurance, and fearing the worst, I decided to attempt to find a dentist to see how bad it would be. I hadn't been to a dentist in 4 + years. I called this office because the previous review said they were "reasonable."Here is the result - called at 12:15 p.m. --I was in a dentist chair about 12:35 p.m. (10 minutes driving time). I was told that the procedure was fairly simply, quoted a price and in my car, my tooth fixed, before 1:00 p.m. #1. The receptionist who took my call was caring, helpful and pleasant #2. The lady (and I mean lady) who was in billing was pleasant, took my information (i didn't have to fill out 17 forms- in fact I filled out zero forms-she asked for the information) - and did not ask for my first born as collateral. Dr. Summers --the best! Paid in cash and made another appointment! (I don't usually write a review, but felt I had to!)

What a crazy experience! I met him with a hand shake. He said " You're not smiling". I spent the weekend hiding my chipped front tooth. After a few ghetto smiles from myself, I am all fixed up. Remember peeps, your teeth are Jewels not Tools!!!

Dr. Staley examined my Son less than a week ago and told me my Son had 5 cavities that needed filled. But when the Lady setting me up with the "care plan" couldn't point out exactly where the cavities were on his X-rays I told her I wanted a second opinion. Her attitude became very rough and not as nice at all! I then went to my Dentist in Rexburg and had him re-examined. Layne Hacking only found 1 tiny cavity that he fixed for free,with no anestesia needed. Honesty is a rare thing apparently even in Idaho Falls! This Dr. Staley was going to begin destroying my 12 year old Sons perfect teeth just to line his pockets with money. And I don't even have insurance. Thanks to Dr. Layne Hacking at Comfort Care Dental my son still has his teeth and I didn't get taken for God only knows how much money!! I would definately not recommend anyone in the office of "The Family Health Center"!!!! They are Dishonest!!!!

I highly recommend Family Dental Services to anyone! The staff is very friendly and the dentists are GREAT! I have taken my boys in here several times for cleaning and filings, i won’t go anywhere else!
